    The quarterbacks doing so well…the both of them do THRIVE…
    No TWITCH of any muscle, a SPIFFY look abounds,
    (I’ll WEASEL out of SANDAL…no place for it I found)…
    It’s Playoffs in the NFL…and so we see today…
    Two giants of the sport for sure, but WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY…🏈

    …And I doubt anyone’s PASSING up the games today…

    So…Today…we’re HEAVEN SENT…And just in case anyone’s memory is CLOUDed, we’re in the company of Howard Cosell,sports broadcaster, Bart Starr, #15, and Johnny Unitas, #19…two of Football’s great Quarterbacks (= PASSERS), who did suffer arm injuries. And let’s be honest HAIR,  I mean here…(I was distracted by Cosell)…this one couldn’t be any easier…Especially with the dialogue of…”People are DYING (=PASSING AWAY) to play here! Football games in Heaven? Feature Quarterbacks WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY… https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/pass+away …And it’s a GOD one for us…a definite TOUCHDOWN…

    And the hope of course is, 
    That eternity’s bliss…

    They met their demise,
    With their eyes on the prize…
    And it’s Heaven we’re talking about… ⏰

  6. What a great Sunday funday ! All the anagrams were there except it’s been snowing and cold here , so we don’t wear a SANDAL , and I couldn’t ABSORB that one ! Now the jumble had me thinking with 17 letters and relating to heaven and a quarterback, I got WHO HAVE PASS , and the letters left , I saw an ED , that I attached to PASS , then AWAY was left and I said hooray ! I got it ! It was really a fun jumble that I was able to put it together and get ! And what really seals it , is your details for each category that explains the aspects of the jumble. ! Thank you Angela ! I had a great Sunday funday and let’s all get ready for the start of a new week , Monday !!!

  7. Oh goodness…I think I spelled THRIVE wrong. What’s the world coming to ?? Anyway, bombed out on today’s puzzle. The only words I saw were WHO, WERE and DAYS. PASSED completely passed over me. As an aside, Howard Cosell was such a colorful commentator…I remember those days well. Terry

  10. Easy Jumble today. The first word was obviously WHO. That made HAVE probable next. I then saw PASSED, making AWAY the last word.

    It’s raining here in SoCal, so the fire danger will be low for a while. I hope this starts a trend of occasional rain.

Back from a wonderful weekend with family and friends I wasn’t to concerned about todays jumble but I did get all the words correctly and after getting all the letters down I quit after a couple of minutes to enjoy the football game. I’ll read everything later after the game. Until tomorrow take care
