⚾️First pitches are tough as we know, Need to settle in before you throw… But a homer, first crack? Could throw one def off track… Before one can go with the flow…⚾️

I am so happy starting starting the week off this Monday ! All the anagrams were right there for me ! The jumble was pitching it to me good , so I came up with OFF and BAT ! When I wrote them down the letters that were left gave me RIGHT OFF (the) BAT ! Hello Monday , new week ! And to cap this good start is you back in your great seat Angela ! Just a bit outside…..(from Major League) and that’s how my day started with today’s Jumble…so it was a little bit of a struggle. No blind solve, so I conquered the anagrams in easy fashion, then searched around for words that might fit. Finally, BAT emerged and the puzzle solved itself. Thanks for a nice Monday post, Angela. Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to their teams’ spring training facilities on or around Feb. 10 in 2025. I am a big baseball fan so that thought helps me get through the cold Nebraska winters. Sitting my FOYER this morning, a room about the WIDTH of a walk-in closet, I FOUGHT the urge to ABSORB a second cup of coffee and began the Jumble. Anagrams were as easy as a Willie Mays swing of the bat. Solved puzzle with just a glance. Happy Monday!

I thought foyer was a misspelled foray so was stumped by the cartoon, thinking the solution was after the hit, rather than before the at bat. But after correcting the foyer anagram error, I did solve the puzzle. I did see last night that today was going to be national bacon day, and wondered about your yesterday’s post.Thanks for clarifying that comment. Chuck.
