    🥾You’ll never find a DAISY here, the weather’s just too cold,

    High up upon the glacier where we find our folks, quite bold…

    For some it’s not ENOUGH to read about these certain things,

    They hike and they explore it all…they like to spread their wings…

    The ADAGE, “No risk, no reward” is what we see today,

    And pictures from the CAMERA will prove that they live that way…

    They hiked on Mendehall for fun…it was quite a display…

    And now they’re onto other quests…since they HAD AN “ICE” DAY!🥾

I’ve never heard of it before. Not that I’m all that interested, TBH…since I’ve no HIGH hopes of venturing anywhere near it. But for today, I’ll FALLs on my sword…And since our puzzle’s another easy, BREEZY one…I won’t be DOWN THERE for long…Because with our cartoon showing all the smiling faces, the men’s dialogue matching them, plus the fact that they’re surrounded by ICE, and not to mention those quotation marks setting the stage for the play on words…there’s no CLIFF hanger here today…When they went hiking…they all HAD AN “ICE” DAY…  https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/have+a+nice+day And we’ve TOPped off another one…WHITEOUT a bit of trouble…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? That could be him taking the picture, and I think I might recognize the man at back to be Mac King, a good friend of his… As for the others? It’s UP IN THE AIR…That might be Kathy, second from left, or second from right, but I’m a bit ROCKY on that too…even though I can’t see Jeff doing something like this without his beautiful bride…Who knows…But it is obvious that the faces are very distinctive, and Jeff’s given us real people…I just can’t SUMMIT up…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who when his interest was PEAKed he became INCLINED to believe that hiking in the mountains would be a very UPLIFTING experience…but it didn’t last long. And I had to tell him, “I GLACIER just not ready for this type of thing…Obviously he realized it wasn’t smart to take Mother Nature for GRANITE… 🥾🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Had trouble opening up (is it) WordPress to find your post this morning. Anyway…after lengthy delay, finally worked.

    I was off, but not by much….just missed the idiom. Came up with HAD AN ICE XXX and missed the fourth word. Thought it might have to do with “EYES”. Anyway, with anagrams solved, it was clear as ICE. Enjoy your TGIF, Angela. Terry

  9. Good morning. I had an ice day as well. Breezed through the words and was able to solve the cartoon answer in short order. After getting the first word I put it aside as I was stalled and did my breakfast dishes then went back with a fresh start and got the next three words lickety split. Enjoyed your song choice Angela and all your extras as usual. Until tomorrow take care.

  11. Wow ! I got me a little thirsty on this Thursday ! The anagrams were really teasing my brain ! I had ADAGE , but at first I thought there were two D’s in it ! And I also saw ENOUGH, but I was seeing a lot of other things that threw me off and then I yelled ENOUGH ! Now the jumble , with a cold glacier, brought out ICE then HAD AN , came , and with the quotation marks AN ICE DAY was there ! And it matches our weather here in the Akron Ohio area , it’s ice cold !! So , Angela , the video with Bon Jovi was really a good one and first I’ve seen it ! So let’s all get warm for Friday and turn the heat up ! Everyone have a great day !!!!!

  14. Almost had the solution before the clue words. Thot the 4th word was time. Hadda actually eliminate the first three before seeing ‘day’. Oh well, I’ve had ‘enough’. Remember that old ‘adage’-Have ‘camera’-Will travel. Then again-stop and smell the ‘daisys’-er, roses…
