    • Good Morning, Everyone…🚂 STILL IN TRAINING🚂

🎶When I was a little boy I loved my Lionel™️train…And now many years have passed and when I see a Lionel train…it’s like I’ve found an old lost friend and that same old feeling comes back again…My Lionel train, my Lionel train…🎶… “My Lionel Train” – James Brian Coffey 2001 https://tinyurl.com/479hhre7

🚂 She feared it’d be another night that he’d CHOMP at his meal,
LATELY he seemed so pressed for time…since he had made that deal…
No way would she REBUKE him, for words cut like a KNIFE,
And she’d always support his craft…she was a doting wife
      Meticulous he’d always been…and like a hand to glove…
He’d stick with it despite how long it took to KEEP TRACK OF…🚂

Today…We find ourselves at the home of LIONEL TRAIN…in his basement, where he has his model railroad layout https://tinyurl.com/2fusppfu set-up…and it’s RAILly been KEEPing him busy lately. Having recently signed on to do a show at the local CYO, he’s been spending an inordinate amount of time packing and perfecting everything…much to the CHUGGIN’, I mean chagrin of his long-suffering wife, DOLOROUS…But the missing meals have been taking a TOLL, leaving our Lionel starting to look as thin as a RAIL…And of COURSE, Dolorous is concerned…Right now…the issue?…missing “Y” – “Wye” https://tinyurl.com/5n78m6wx sections, the pieces needed to allow the trains to TURN on the TRACKS …And although Lionel was sure he had the boxes where he’d always kept = (KEEP) them…he seems to have hit a ROAD BLOCK…And so our Lionel, in TURN, is searching Y and low to find them…And his dialogue LAYS it all OUT…”I need to find” …So with so many pieces? It’s become hard to…KEEP TRACK OFhttps://tinyurl.com/y6nvc3jt …And yeah…that’s the TICKET…

Jeff’s💎 Gems? Two trees lie on the board behind the engine, a car lies on its side before the box at back, a tunnel is displayed, Lionel is holding the coal car, and he’s clad in the standard striped overalls and cap adopted by true die-hard hobbyists…But it’s his T-shirt that rings the bell here today…It depicts “Choo Choo Charlie” of the vintage 1950’s “Good & Plenty” candy https://tinyurl.com/2rxxu6aj TV commercials https://tinyurl.com/5xrbzumv … And once again, Jeff’s right ON TRACK…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind…and stay safe out there…🚂🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I hadn’t noticed that his train set was a Lionel train set when I wrote my comment below. Interesting as it could have been an American Flyer train set like my Uncle Al had. Chuck.

        • Professor, I took the liberty of dubbing it a Lionel™️ set. It’s depicted as generic. 🚂🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 🤷🏻‍♂️He’d been called a Johnny-come-LATELY…which cut like a KNIFE, and whether it was meant as a REBUKE or not, it had him ready to CHOMP at the bit to prove that he could KEEP TRACK OF the company’s agenda..🤷🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️He took a CHOMP out of the bread, although the KNIFE was near,
His wife quick to REBUKE him…LATELY her disdain so clear…
And whether she was right or wrong…when push came down to shove?
The arguments between them?…Just too much to KEEP TRACK OF …🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. My thirst is quenched ! Hallelujah Thursday ! All the anagrams were there ! I had to raise an eyebrow on LATELY , but I got it ! The jumble had my mind on the first thing I thought of , about a train , and that was TRACKS ! And the slogan then came to me to KEEP TRACK OF ! Nice way to smooth out yesterday’s jumble ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!

  3. Initially looked at TRAIN IT….Wrong, so unscrambled anagrams to see TRACK, and the eventual solve. Twas a good Thirsty Thursday !! Had to pause on a couple anagrams, too. See you TGIF. TERRY

  4. Good morning. I was stuck on the last word and went to the cartoon and immediately came up with what I thought was the final answer which left me with needing an ERK for the final missing word. With those letters I was successful in completing todays jumble. In my house I had a 10×5’ board with Lionel trains, erector set Ferris wheel with ice skaters around it, cowboys fighting Indians, farmers with chickens, horses, cows, Americans fighting Germans then on another 4×8’ board with miniature trains and inside the tracks and over, a racing car set. Even had a couple of miniature planes Hanging from ceiling with a spotlight on it where the soldiers were fighting. It kept the boys busy until their cousin set up road blocks for the train and one of the engines went off the track and the cow catcher broke. No one fessed up to it so that was the end of that. Until tomorrow take care.

  5. Yes we’re always looking for some hack

To help us stay on track

Of the things that we own

    (And some we’ve outgrown!)

And where and how we should pack!

  6. A quick and easy solve of the anagrams and a blind solve of the cartoon which reminded me of a small Lionel electric train set my brother and I had growing up.A happy and Blessed Holy Thursday to one and all. Chuck.

  7. Traveled on the right track today to arrive at the anagram and cartoon solutions. We have a museum here that hosts the Golden Gate Model Railroad Club. All the men wear the regulation blue and white stripped hat and delight in playing with & explaining about the many types of trains that are stationed at the museum. Happy Thursday all! Betty

    • There are a lot of model train enthusiasts here too, Betty. Extremely dedicated group of men. I still have complete Lionel™️sets that were my Father’s. Unfortunately we never saved the elaborate layouts he made to go with them. 🚂🙋🏻‍♀️
