    👗The “Freaky Chic Boutique” it’s name, a long-time neighborhood store,
    It opened as a Pop-up…years turned PLURAL and then more…
    Took a CHOMP out of city life, not thinking they would SETTLE,
    Before long though they easily proved they definitely had the mettle…
    Now though it’s MOSSY ponds and cypress trees calling them home,
    Their hearts still deeply in the South…no matter where they’d roam…
    The time has come, from city streets they’re planning now to bail…
    And close up shop…so hence we see a final “CLOTHES-OUT” SALE…👗

    Who doesn’t love a sale? And if you become aWEAR of one at 70% off, you’d be SLACKing common CENTS passing it BUY…

    So…Today we’re standing OUTside the “Freaky Chic Boutique” …And our proprietor, DoREEn TAIL, (who goes by Ree for short), is heard telling her customers, Kathy and Sydney, that she’s in a Jeffy, I mean a jiffy to move. Seems that BUY now, both she and her husband, LEVI, are tired of RACKing their brains worrying about the ever inCREASEing heating costs, fed-up with having to sugar-COAT their frustration with their landlord’s constantly SOCKing it to them with rent hikes… and let’s face it, they miss the green, green grass of home. And as REE TAIL’s husband was heard telling his friends, “I can see that my wife’s unhappy…And I told her…”Don’t SWEAT-ER, Ree…you don’t need to perSUEDE or PLEAT with me, I’m SOLD”… So Ree’s telling Kathy and Syd that they’ve decided to not SKIRT the issue any longer, and just adDRESS it head-on. They’re moving back to Louisiana, looking forward to SCARFing down some home cooking…But first they need to CLOTHES up shop…Hence, they’re having a SALE, with most items OUTside, and where everything’ll be at CLOSE- OUT prices…And as for our solve? With those tell-tale quotation marks?     • Pretty easy puzzle morning, although a blind solve eluded me. Was kind of thinking xxxx-OFF-SALE. Anyway, sped thru anagrams, pulled out OUT, then saw the obvious CLOTHES….Yep, shoulda seen that earlier.

  3. 👏🏻👏🏻 It was definitely a PLURAL CHOMP at the bit moment when she heard about the CLOSE-OUT SALE at her favorite boutique…she’d been eying both the MOSSY green sweater and the “Metal SETTLE” brand boots…👏🏻👏🏻

    👍🏻 She always took a CHOMP from life, to SETTLE not her game,
    Adventures…always PLURAL…became her claim to fame…
    Nothing about her MOSSY…trendy the way she rolled,
    She truly did live on the edge…grabbed all she could behold
    Determined to remain unique till the Lord her name hailed…

  6. Good morning. I got the first three words but had to look up the last one, Plural. Unable to get the blind solve but once the letters were down it came easy. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. What a great way to end the work week Friday ! The anagrams were not at all MOSSY ! I got the PLURAL of them ! I easily went to CHOMP on the jumble and I did so to SETTLE a great one ! And the jumble made me proud of myself ! I first saw the word SALE , then being a fashion boutique , it had to do with CLOTHES ! And what a great play on words ! Then OUT was left and I had a CLOTHES OUT SALE ! Great one today ! Everyone have a great end of week day Friday !!!!

  8. I had trouble deciphering the comments in the cartoon picture so that along w the multitude of letters stumped me on a solution on a rainy overcast Friday morning despite having solved the anagrams.
