Hmm…Stormy as one of today’s anagrams…and Storm in our puzzle’s question…I THUNDER if that’s ever happened before…ACORNding to what I’ve come across so FIR, I think NUT…
So…Today the home of HEATH and WILLOW BIRCH…and the calm AFTER the storm…Having withSTOOD a terrible diSPLAY of thunder and FRIGHTENING…in which WILLOW was heard WEEPING in the BARK of night… so concerned for their OAK TREE, https://tinyurl.com/38z8ue85 ;they now STAND in their yard watching two STRAPping, LIMBer men from “LAWN & Order Landscaping” BOLSTER their spirits…by saving = MENDing their TREE. Afraid that it might NUT LEAF to see another day, they’re so reLEAFed to see that the landscaping brothers, FRASER and TIM BURR, were able to get things back on TRACT…OR it might have been curtains for their Oak. ⚡️☔️ Despite it being such a STORMY night, the DOMINO club for the UNWED members of the community had a TREMENDOUS turnout….even though winning did ELUDE most of them the week before..☔️⚡️
🎳 The reception rather STORMY….failing to ELUDE a soul,
The newcomers could feel it…but they just were there to bowl…
The DOMINO group they eschewed…most people there UNWED,
And so they figured bowling…a better fit instead
The night went well considering…though hardly monumentous…
But truth be told…long way to go to come close to TREMENDOUS…🎳

TGIF ! This one was really fun, but I had just a little shuffle with DOMINO and UNWED , but then they came ! Now the jumble , when I noticed the slogan said oak , but didn’t mention trees , that gave me the word TREES , and what was left I saw MOUND and an extra E left , then it found its way to MOUND and it was TREEMENDOUS ! Had to cheat a little , but it was Friday fun ! And Angela I always love your song choices in the 60’s ! And Simon and Garfunkel is one of my favorite groups and they’ll probably accept your apology ! Everyone have a great TGIF !!!!!

Good morning. I was stuck on Domino and I have a set in the closet. I was annoyed and put the letters down then went to the cartoon and maybe I’m finally getting the hang of it because after a brief thought the blind solve appeared. A letter to the editor in yesterday’s Toronto Star lamented the fact that on one occasion earlier this week, the Jumble had been relocated to an inside page, causing outrage to the letter writer. Don’t mess with Jumblers!!
