Good Morning, Everyone…🦄 WHAT’S UP MYTH THAT?🦄
Day 3 of Guest Jumbler Week brings us into the magical world of “Phoebe And Her Unicorn”, https://tinyurl.com/mr3ybbs4 the brainchild of our featured cartoonist, Dana Simpson. https://tinyurl.com/bdheeexz …
Unicorns. A mythical animal resembling a horse, with a single straight HORN projecting from its forehead….Forming a POINT. ..A mythical animal that’s found to be so endearing to young girls. My nieces are enamored…And our girl Phoebe Howell https://tinyurl.com/yc6f9785 is no different, having found a best friend in Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, https://tinyurl.com/yr8f6tmu a beautiful white Unicorn. But Marigold tends to be vain…and when she went on and on about her HORN…Phoebe wasn’t thrilled, but she had to admit that Marigold…HAD A GOOD POINT… https://tinyurl.com/3retwa6u
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably wondered why they’re called Unicorns…and not UniHORNS….Let’s face it, it is a valid POINT…🦄🙋🏻♀️
I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
In fact the corn is something that over time is an enormous formation and build up of keratinous skin. A corn on a human foot , if unchecked can grow to a painful size. Horns and antlers are a wild animal’s keratinous formation on the head. It is entirely plausible that there was an animal related to deer and even horses (the hoof is very thick keratinous material too). So a 4 legged animal with one horn may have existed and may have been a rare species which like a 4 leaf clover is lucky and has very good human connection.
I am a 74 year lld who was a science nerd as a kid. My grandma believed in unicorns so who could. ever doubt that?
The horn could have morphed to corn in this case.
Nelsie…If you’re referring to the closing of my post…I was just making a joke. I guess it didn’t go over very well! 😉 But thank you for commenting, and have a great day! 🦄🙋🏻♀️
une corne is French for horn. Similar in Italian Angela?
Yes, it’s corno in Italian.🙋🏻♀️
…AND IN OTHER WORDS…🔠🙋🏻♀️

🤵🏻♂️He may have HAD A GOOD POINT when he started, but the laughter had a DOMINO effect after he chose to GLOAT about his TUXEDO and someone pointed out that the jacket had a PATCH near the side pocket…🤵🏻♂️
🤦🏻♀️ A DOMINO’s a long loose cloak, and that he chose to wear,
The invite stated formal though….TUXEDO should be clear…
She wore a gown, a PATCH of gray embossed her basic black,
She thought she’d GLOAT…except now her man looked just like a hack…
As charming as he thinks he is…she wants to leave the joint…
Embarrassed to no end…yet he swears he HAD A GOOD POINT! 🤦🏻♀️
🦄 Unicorns are all whimsy and fluff…
Little girls though just can’t get enough…
They’re so taken with them,
They’re a little girl’s gem…
And they’d hardly one of them rebuff! 🦄
💕Marigold does come off as vain,
Her ego is large..there’s no feign…
But Phoebe in stride,
Learned to let it slide…
It’s friendship the two have attained…💕
👍🏻There’s Max and Dakota involved,
And problems of course do get solved…
A child’s mindset,
Lends to no regret…
And we get to see things resolved!👍🏻
🪄There’s magic that Marigold brings,
Seems Unicorns know ‘bout these things…
She can cast a spell,
To make things go well…
When unforeseen events do spring! 🪄
🦄It started when a rock was skipped,
And said rock did Marigold clip…
But Phoebe came through,
Formed a friendship anew…
And gave Dana her comic strip! 🦄
Good morning Wednesday hump-day ! I love the guest jumblers ! Once I adjust , I think I’ll solve them better ! TUXEDO was not there to wear ! I love it ! So everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!!
Anagrams and puzzle solved
HAD A GOOD PINTO. This one has a really strong shadow solution. Unicorns don’t exist. So in order for Phoebe to have one, someone has to put a single horn on an existing animal, in this case, a pinto horse. So Phoebe is telling her unicorn horse what a good pinto she was.
Good morning. I was able to get both with very little trouble. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Domino and tuxedo had me stumped at first but solving those anagrams gave me a multitude of letters to work with for the cartoon solution, which surprisingly I could solve on a freezing overcast Wednesday!
Three for three so far this week. Looks like a cute cartoon but not one my paper carries. Have a magical day all! 🦄
Domino had a good run in the fifties with outputs like “Blueberry Hill” and “Ain’t That a Shame”.
The cartoon clue is not supposed to have any solution words in it. The word ‘had’ is in both the cartoon and the answer. “… But Phoebe _was forced_ to admit … ” would have been better wording. I think this one slipped past the editors.
Mark. There’s no rule etched in stone regarding words used in the question. What we won’t see is a “key” clue word of the solution used in the dialogue. And as far as slipping past the editors, these puzzles are drawn up by our Guest Jumblers, so for the most part, we can’t expect them to be of the caliber we’re used to. Not saying that they all haven’t been great entries, IMO. A word like “had” definitely passes muster…Thank you for visiting our blog, and enjoy your day! 🦄🙋🏻♀️
Though mythical creatures they were
Through the ages they’ve caused quite a stir
With their signature horn
We wonder – how did it occur?
They belong to the land of folklore
Dragons, winged horses and more
The unicorn’s allure
Is a fixture for sure
And one that we cannot ignore!
Later than usual today but still in time!
