I saw Weiner in the letters , but couldn’t make the remaining letters anything ! The anagrams were all there ! I really welcome the guest jumbler and would like to say “hot dog “ ! But I was left with “sorry to say” , one of the WURST ones to get ! But it was fun ! I just couldn’t get it ! So I’m ready for Wednesday hump-day ! A stumped Tuesday . I got the anagrams after a pause on trudge, and the ing ending on the first word but that was it. The cold snowy morning must have gotten to my brain.

And then others who do it to strive…

Keeping a crazy contest alive!👍🏻

Took me a bit of time to figure out today’s cartoon answer because I copied down the letters incorrectly – left out the u which was crucial to finding “wurst”. Once I corrected that error it was a quick solve. I have a hard time thinking of Hot Dog Eating Contests as a “Sport”. Personally I find it disgusting. A Bay Area fellow, Joey Chestnut has won the contest in New York for several years now. I can only imagine the shape his GI Tract is in. Horrors! 😱.
As I mentioned, Betty…it’s definitely not pretty. And I think it’s grotesquely insane. And I’ve seen Joey Chestnut..up close…but I’m going to be kind here and bite my tongue…in lieu of a hot dog! 😉🌭🙋🏻♀️
