…Interestingly, what sets “Pluggers” apart from your average, every day run-of-the-MILL comic strip, is the fact that it’s readers’ submissions that RULE the ROAST…so to speak…as we can see by Sandy Epstein’s offering today…So I guess we can say that Rick isn’t subject to the usual GRIND of coming up with a premise each day like other cartoonists. And I’m sure that FILTERS down to the rest of his day going quite well…Hats off, Rick…DRIP, DRIP Hooray!
Ok…Our cartoon…Obviously this isn’t the first time Earl’s BEAN caught BREWING up trouble. Somehow I don’t think Henrietta would be this BITTER, and looking like she wants to CREAM him, if this were just a FLY-by-night occurrence. Most likely, when it comes to not emptying the filter, it’s a case of déjà BREW with him…he’s BEAN there, done that…and as far as Henrietta’s concerned?…He’s ruffled her feathers one time too many…These GRINDS in her coffee are MOCHA her crazy…and her CUP runneth over…So if Earl knows what’s good for him…he BITTER learn to BLEND a little…and stop trying to MILK his WHEY through life…Or he might just find himself in the DOGhouse…and this may definitely be…GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE!

It’s Monday , start of a new week of jumbles ! Today was a typical fun Monday ! The anagrams were good except I was attacked by a DRAGON ! I should have gotten it , but the letters were all scrambled in my brain ! I felt a little embarrassed that I didn’t get it ! But sometimes we all let the weather of SNOWY and HUMID affect our CLEVER minds ! Ok the jumble gave me GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE , but at first I had words of Grounded , Discover , Over , and it made me study harder ! Then I did GROUNDS and the gimme word FOR , left DIVORCE ! Then I got it ! So everyone have a new fun jumble start of the week Monday !!!!
This one reminds me of an excerpt from a news story in a Chicago newspaper in 1968; I was in Evanston at the time of the riots outside the Democratic convention. The story said that a protester was arrested. The protester asked on what grounds are you arresting me. The police officer said, “coffee grounds”.
jim…Which left the protester with an ax to GRIND I’m sure…Everyone has a right to ESPRESSO themselves…so it was probably a BITTER pill to SWALLOW…But faced with a complete BREW ha ha…with everyone so HOT under the COLLAR…it was up to the police to FILTER out the inciters who BLENDed into the crowd looking to STIR things up…So I guess in that INSTANT with a LATTE deal with, the officer just stood his GROUND and figured…”I better MOCHA example of this guy…” ☕️🙋🏻♀️
Didn’t understand what a plugger was so that confused me. Accomplished anagrams okay but nothing popped out to help me solve. I’m 0/1 for guest week. Enjoy the start of the week.

Good morning. I got all the words pretty quick and Googled plugger but that didn’t help me so I went straight to the answer. I always enjoyed Tammy’s singing especially that song, not it’s outcome.
