  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🔠 WORDS OF A TETHER*? 🔠

🎶 I’m AT A LOSS FOR WORDS….And my heart, it hurts…I’m at a loss for words…And my heart it, hurts…🎶 “Loss For Words” – Landon McNamara 2019 https://tinyurl.com/yc7fbm68

🔠 Look closely at the cartoon, art imitating life,
The puzzle our guy’s doing, that’s causing so much strife?
The same drawing we have today….but the words? Not a snap,
    No wonder this guy’s stuck on them…it seems like it’s a trap…
They aren’t the words that we have, not FUNGUS, or OUTFOX…
It’s easy to see why he has no letters in a box…
There is no SWERVE that has him bent…or GOSSIP he can’t see,
I’d GLADLY help him out but these words? Mostly Greek to me…
And that leaves ATRIUM for us…for him though I’m disturbed…
Is he faced with lots of gibberish? …Hence AT A LOSS FOR WORDS! 🔠

With all of our words except Outfox having been seen earlier this year, the anagrams today were easy pickins’. In fact, Gossip we just saw Monday. And despite the answer calling for 15 letters, when you read the wife’s (who’s drinking from an I ❤️ Jumble mug) dialogue and the question, and see that our guy’s (who’s a leftie) paper is a complete blank…well…there are no words…Literally…there are no words! He was…AT A LOSS FOR WORDS! And it’s no wonder why…

…As I mentioned in my rhyme, the cartoon of the puzzle he’s working on is the same one we have. But…and it’s a big but…the words aren’t the same. But…and it’s another big but…I came up with words that give us the exact same letters…the correct 15 letters needed to solve the puzzle. Totally mind boggling!…Look closely and you’ll see he’s working with…LOIEFS-Filose? Giving us FOS. AIBUAL-Abulia? ALA. RUZELW-Wurzel? WR. RVETBO-Obvert? ORT. ESIECS-Ecesis? SS. DONBIB-Dobbin? DO. Amazing…

And it looks like he’s working from one of those bonus puzzle magazines that come every few weeks with the Sunday papers of the Tribune’s publications…because you can see another Jumble puzzle on the opposite page…And those words are: Elite, Woman, Scenic and Shrunk…The Jumble puzzle from 11/12/2019… https://tinyurl.com/2md3rs6y

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and I hope you didn’t allow this puzzle to put a SPELL on you…despite it all, the solve is WRITE there! 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

    * If you say that you are at the end of your tether, you mean that you are so worried, tired, and unhappy because of your problems that you feel you cannot cope.

And FYI: Tomorrow begins the annual GUEST JUMBLER WEEK…this year marking #10.

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️Meeting in the ATRIUM, they GLADLY discussed how to SWERVE around the tide that was growing like a FUNGUS and try to OUTFOX the source of all the GOSSIP…who seemed never to be AT A LOSS FOR WORDS…🤷🏻‍♀️

🪴Her best plant sprung a FUNGUS, the leaves now all a’SWERVE,
She placed it in the ATRIUM , it def threw her a curve…
She’d GLADLY welcome good advice, not GOSSIP but some fact,
As what to do so that the plant could just get back on track…
She’d like to put it outside, but could she OUTFOX the birds?
    The whole thing’s so annoying…and she’s AT A LOSS FOR WORDS!🪴

  4. After short hiatus (from the flu) back with resounding success with a pretty easy Sunday blind solve and anagrams solved speedily. Angela, those words you were spelling from the cartoon….were those real words, or words that just gave the needed letters for the puzzle cartoon?? Hoping for a fun week with guest Jumbling, though it has never been my favorite. Have a great Sunday

  5. This really is absurd
Me – to be stuck for a word
    Do this puzzle every day
    With puns and word play
So why’s today’s answer so blurred!?

  6. A surprisingly good Jumble Sunday with only a slight pause on “outfox”.The additional anagrams and letters on Sunday usually give me problems, but not today!

  7. Had a busy weekend and couldn’t do the jumble , but love reading the comments and Angela’s intriguing information on the different words ! Like terry said , “ are they real “ ok everyone have wonderful Sunday , cause I’m obviously at A LOSS FOR WORDS ! Let’s go new week ahead !

  8. Good morning. Took the express route with the words but the local with the cartoon answer with a couple of pause’s in route to the finish line. Enjoyed the start of a new week. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  9. I’ve certainly been at a loss for words with some of the Jumbles but not today. Anagrams were a snap and the cartoon answer was a blind solve. Have a good Sunday all!
