Good Morning, Everyone…🔔THE BRITISH ARE SUM=(MON)-ING 🔔
🎶 You’ll never know how many dreams I dream about you…Or just how empty they all seem without you…It’s been a LONG, LONG, TIME…🎶…”It’s Been A Long, Long, Time” = Harry James & His Orchestra…Featuring Helen Forrest (circa) 1941 https://tinyurl.com/yzcwbb2p
🔔 GLITZ always will surround it, as it did way back when, The tower and its famous bell..we know of as Big Ben… (And TOXIN, also MERGER…they just can’t stay AFLOAT, I tried to work them in here…but they’re just gotten my goat)… We’re dealing with Elizabeth…and these children should know… The history of it that started…A LONG TIME AGO…🔔
London’s famous Clock Tower…SECOND to none…And we’ve been here TIME and TIME A-BEN!
So…Today…What appears to be an elementary class, grade 5…and children learning about the Elizabeth CLOCK (= TIME) Tower, https://tinyurl.com/2rdcmz6a more commonly known by its nickname, Big Ben. https://tinyurl.com/5c4mpczw …And according to the teacher’s dialogue…perhaps as a graduating field trip, before entering middle school…it seems they’re about to embark on a visit to the historical site. And with the mention of 1859 in our question, we know that as with most HISTORY, it’s background story has occurred…A LONG TIME AGO… https://tinyurl.com/5a57mubs …And despite the 4 words, and 12 letters, and considering how many TIMES we’ve visited this theme before, (seriously, how many TIMES has it BEN)?…this puzzle’s so easy, breezy, I’m sure it hasn’t taken a TOLL on anyone…And we’ve solved it in less than a MINUTE…
Jeff’s💎Gem? The witty take on the young boy’s naivety…An AGE OLD story…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who lives in London and puts in long HOURS driving a cab that takes tourists BACK and FORTH to visit the TOWER…He works AROUND THE CLOCK…🔔🙋🏻♀️

👍🏻They decided A LONG TIME AGO that they would form a MERGER…and avoid any GLITZ…in order to keep AFLOAT the subject of the TOXIN…👍🏻
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️The GLITZ they couldn’t keep AFLOAT, like TOXIN it did suck, The life out of the whole thing…they feel quite out of luck The MERGER now looks iffy…there’s not much left to show… It seems they should have started in…lo…A LONG TIME AGO…🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️

🔔 Big Ben…as it’s commonly named, Has always earned its share of fame… Iconic…well-known, And part of the throne… It’s kept its importance aflame..🔔
📆 The years have been many, for sure, Yet it never has lost its allure… People drawn to the site, Be it day or night… And it hosts quite the number of tours…📆
👑 So stately…it’s majesty reigns, As it’s history always remains… London basks in its grace, Yes, it’s quite the place… As interest in it never wanes… 👑
📕Today, it’s a young group we see, Learning ‘bout the Tower’s history… So much to absorb, Within its vast orb… In London?…No chance of ennui…📕
🔔 Here’s to many more children in awe, As they’ve been in the years come before… Such a beautiful sight, With its bell…with its height… May it draw crowds to it evermore…🔔
Short and sweet Jumble Day….even Angela’s friend only had a short story. Love these clock stories when TIME is usually part of the answer. Great ballad from yesteryear. Thanks, Angela. Terry

Good morning. As you said Angela, this jumble was solved in 3/4 time with an automatic blind solve. It’s weird, instead of being elated I was disappointed I got it on the first try. Loved your song choice and I think I remember seeing it on the Lawrence Welk show. Anyway I’m sure I seen it on some. Show. I’m not about to try and fix the error !! until tomorrow take care.

Good Afternoon, Paul., Tk you…“3/4 Time”…👏🏻👏🏻…but no need to be disappointed…it’s a cute puzzle. As for the typo..Tell me about it…I get grief myself trying to fix anything. I don’t know what Word Press did, but I’ve lost volumes attempting to back up too. Take care. 🔔🙋🏻♀️

Wipeout Saturday! My paper is restricted to online on Saturday and today’s edition was lacking the puzzles, all of them. So I was able to scramble and find another copy of today’s Jumble. Then even was able to solve all! Whew. Chuck.

👍🏻Yes, the times Ben’s appeared are a bunch… (And I think that I’ve counted them once)… It makes great puzzle fare, Every time we go there… The word “time” of course never a hunch…👍🏻
🤷🏻♀️The years if I count them are vast, At least 15… or perhaps it’s past… That it has graced our page, I’m trying to gauge… Maybe even that tally surpassed…🤷🏻♀️
➕Off the top of my head I would guess, We’ve seen 20 puzzles more or less… Yet it always appears, Where people are near… But today…it’s a different address…➕
👍🏻 Yes, to be in a classroom today, Has taken the theme a new way…. I like the new bent, And what it has lent… …To Ben…as it’s still holding sway…👍🏻
🧢 Cute puzzle…of that be assured, And that child? Yes, he’s added more… Such sweet concept of age, He’s brought to the page… Hats off to our puzzle du jour!🧢
