And while Drew is doing some word puzzles, Mel and Ida are looking through the old wedding album, and come across a pic of Drew, in her wedding gown. But Mel’s rude comment about Drew never being able to fit back in that dress now?…She definitely SVELTE insulted. And as can be expected, the situation’s turned HAIRY…(Yes, pun intended). Let’s face it, Folks, POUND for POUND, that was definitely a LOADED remark…How could Mel be so BLANK? It’s not like the years haven’t ALTERED his appearance too…so to make such a BALD-faced comment is ridiculous…I mean, COMB on now…have a little sensitivity…And as for what happens now? (Foolishly), we asked what was wrong, and he said that he had walked in on his wife in the bathroom that morning, standing on the scale, and told her to suck in her stomach…it’d help her to see the numbers better…NeedLESS to say, he’s now WEIGHTing around to hear about an apartment to rent…But the sad part is, you’d think he would have GAINed some perspective about it all. I also was not familiar with the Glenn Miller song reference despite being a Glenn Miller fan and even playing his songs on my accordion. I tried to access your kids Jumble post but couldn’t access it.As far as today’s Jumble I solved the anagrams and had the letters for the cartoon solution.I thought the solution was No laughing her man,but didn’t have 3 N’s for the solution,but then after pondering it,and paying attention to the quotes around the last 2 words,came up with the “No laughing “mad her” solution. Chuck.

Good morning. I’ll read everything later as as I’m being requested to play bocce Got the words with a little hiccup on adjoin and agenda. I was able to get a half of a blind solve but even after I put down the letters I couldn’t come up with the last two words in quotation marks. You dug deep into the archives on that old song.
