So he went hiking in a nearby forest….where unawares, he came upon poison ivy. And not familiar with its look, he figured he’d take some leaves to study…obviously a RASH decision…’cause no sooner had he gathered it that he was ITCHING to go home…And of course, once again, his STORY didn’t turn out VINE…Definitely not a HARLEY QUINN novel…despite POISON IVY being there…(IYKYK)…🥾🙋🏻♀️

Angela – I merely try to expand on what I see as the big picture. I create a framework for the limerick as I’m doing the jumble, usually in the morning, (but not as early as you – I’m sound asleep at midnight I’m glad to say)- then check to see what limericks you have posted. If mine is very similar, I don’t post it at all as it would be redundant and I’m a great believer in economy of words! I then see if I can come up with a more general approach – i.e., is there a lesson/moral/metaphor here that I can take a bit farther, for the interest of readers of this website? If I can’t manage that, then I don’t post at all. C’est tout!
