🐧They tired of the rat-race…they longed to find some peace, The DOMINO effect of chain reaction needs to CEASE… (And cease applies to GOALIE here, no way can I ENACT It into today’s puzzle…it’s just too way off the track)… The theme today is Penguins…and their select location… And how they’ve acclimated to living in “ICE–OLATION”🐧
Not sure if I’d get this rhyme to work…but you know me, there was SNOW way I was giving up…
So…Today, Antarctica **…and a colony of Penguins…And we meet ICE-CUBE and his wife, Anna PAQUIN, ALONE, celebrating Valentine’s Day…with what else? ICE cubes shaped into a heart…And just as Ice was about to melt Anna’s heart (not an easy task) with his romantic gesture, who should SNOW up? None other than an old friend, AL B TROSS….WANDERING *** around…And although they’re caught off guard, surprised that he found them in the ISOLATED area, they decide to go with the FLOE…and give him a warm welcome…no pun intended….But the intended pun that those quotation marks let us know would be here today? It’s all SMELT, I mean spelt, out for us…Right there in BLACK & WHITE …’Cause between our question giving us “least populated” (= ISOLATED), and our dialogue of…”alone time” and “gotten so crowded” ( = the need for ISOLATION)?…This one was easy to WARM up to…It’s Antarctica, Folks…where there’s definitely “ICE-OLATION”**** …And we’re NOT DENSE at all getting this one…It’s an ICE CAP of the work week…

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who traveled to Antarctica with a construction company….Something about experimental housing. He said no matter what they tried, brick and mortar, concrete, etc…nothing held together. But then he finally hit on the right thing…To hear him tell it…”IGLOO’d it together”…ICE swear…he’s always trying to POLAR fast one on us…🐧🙋🏻♀️

Seems today I’ve spent in ice-olation
Digging out in sheer frustration
Snow plow left a wall
Close to six feet tall (well, a slight exaggeration but it was high!)
Put me in an awkward situation!
In the middle of the night it arrived
Yes, the plow blocked the foot of my drive
A terrifying sight
Did I deserve such a plight?
However it seems I’ve survived.
So like the penguins in the Antarctic region
Who don’t want their numbers to be legion
I dug out all by myself
Through ice wall and shelf
“Coz snow plow driver was not collegian!

🤞🏻So far we’ve been quite lucky, I guess We’ve had snow…but not nearly a mess… Yes, the shoveling needed, But we surely succeeded… So we def weren’t very hard-pressed…🤞🏻
💨❄️We’re warned though that storms are still due, Right now number’s standing at two… So we’ve battened the hatches, Hoping snow’s not in batches… And that we’ll easily see it through…❄️💨
💦 Fingers crossed that it does turn to rain, And that if not the snow won’t remain… Rain’s an easier plight, There’s no ice one must fight…. And of course there’s no chance of back sprains…💦
💤As for time here…there’s never a cause, For a poster to have any pause… No need to announce, ‘Cause we don’t take accounts… And there’s never the sound of the saws… 💤
🐧 But the penguins we have here today? To compare stories…there’s just no way… We can hardly complain, Since we surely maintain… …Seasons when all snow goes away!🐧
