Akin to crash and burned… While JOVIAL this morning…right now it’s shot to hell… They know money’s an issue…but this sure don’t “ABODE” WELL! 🏚️
Turnkey? They’re thinking the agent’s more like a Turncoat!…And weren’t we just looking at property a week ago? For REAL…ESTATEs it right here I my records…And EYESORE you all remember…
So…Today…We find ourselves in what’s not considered the best part of town. And we meet our couple, Brad (Money) PIT, and his wife, Faye RUNAWAY, looking to buy a home,(= an ABODE). Unfortunately DOUGH, the Real Estate Agent, Lionel CARRYMORE, has definitely doused their dreams…He’s heard telling them that there’s a LOT to consider here…1: Their budget – 2: The need for TLC – (not going WELL) and 3 – With said budget, things aren’t indicating (= BODE)* they’ll find what they have in mind…And while Brad’s stating that he was looking for something a little more turnkey**…and Faye’s turning green, LIONEL’S letting them know that they need to TRAIN their thoughts to TURNing over a new leaf…because with the limited funds they have? This house-hunting expedition may not…”ABODE” WELL***…And just like that? We’re SOLD! Another easy, breezy, HOME run…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who applied for a job writing ads for a Real Estate Newsletter. Wanting to see if he qualified, they asked him to create a listing for the only remaining apartment in a new luxury building. He wrote…”A must see…last but not LEASED”…He got the job…they were immediately SOLD on him…🏚️🙋🏻♀️

💲Renovations could bury one deep, Material hardly comes cheap… And the cost of the labor? Can cut like a saber… It’s wiser now their money keeps…💲
👍🏻…Cause they’d only be digging a hole, And find things are out of control… Their best bet right now? Til they find that cash cow?… Stay renting…and save for their goal…👍🏻

this one made me a little thirsty ! I got all the anagrams , but had to really think on JOVIAL ! I almost gave up , but then I buckled down and it was there ! The jumble was just not clicking with me ! I really wanted to see it with the quotation marks , but I just couldn’t put it together ! But what made it tolerable was your song choice Angela and your post of many examples of buying a house ! So this is my post I did and I recouping it ! So let’s bring on TGIF !!!

Well. here in S Ontario, with the snow we had overnight and the cold temps, we could build ourselves a very affordable igloo.

The last three or so Jumbles were very easy. This one took more effort. I started in the wrong direction, but when I found WELL, I saw ABODE. I had to look again at the cartoon to convince myself it was right.
Lots of rain in SoCal yesterday and today.
