So…Today…A Swap Meet, where we’re focusing on old record albums. And it looks like both men may have VINYL-ly found that album they’ve been searching for. Not looking to NEEDLE one another, we overhear them pointing out the flaws in each of the albums they’re SWAPPING…The man in the cap’s holding “The Beatles Yesterday And Today”* album.. and the other, the eponymous “Led Zeppelin”**…And it’s all about COMPROMISE…= the GIVE AND TAKE*** …And what a sweet DEAL this was…Such an easy, breezy solve…and done in RECORD time…

The table at back…a group of teddy bears at left, and a statue of a man on a rearing horse at right…The man at right is wearing a Snoop Dog jersey…note the dog bone on the sleeve…On the table, at left, “Violet Femmes”**** another self-named album, at right, Wilco’s “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot”***** But the real deal today is Jeff himself in the background. I wonder what DREW him to the Meet…

Like for others….an easy, breezy HumpDay puzzle. Upon first look, nothing grabbed me except, maybe it was XXXX AND XXXX. Then glimpsed a V in the anagrams and that was it. Great eye for detail, Angela. Snow over with, by the way ?? See you Thirsty Thursday. Terry

The first word I saw was Taken and the I thought what do you do at a swap meet , then the GIVE a AND TAKE came right out ! Good morning. I had a little speed bump at Fickle but finally got the word. Once I wrote the letters down. I saw the answer right away on the cartoon. Even with a magnifying glass I can’t see all that you describe Angela. Thanks for a great job that you do. Until tomorrow take care.

I miscopied the letters from the drank anagram and was missing the ‘N’ for ‘and’ in the cartoon solution but after straightening that out, the rest was a done deal . With the number of successful results, definitely an easy midweek puzzle. Happy Lincoln’s birthday, which is still celebrated here in Illinois. Chuck.

Having trouble posting a reply. I did have all the anagrams solved but miscopied the letters from the drank anagram, and lacked the ‘N’ for ‘and’ in the cartoon solution but, correcting that led to a cartoon solution as well. Chuck.

this one made me a little thirsty ! I got all the anagrams , but had to really think on JOVIAL! I almost gave up , but then I thought hard and it was there ! The jumble was just not clicking ! I really wanted to see it with the quotation marks , but I just couldn’t put it together ! But what made it tolerable was your song choice Angela and your post of examples of buying a new house , and like we all say your creativity and description of the characters and the names !
