  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🤼‍♂️ GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT 🤼‍♂️

    🎶 Sha-na-na-na, sha-na-na-na-na .Ahh, yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip-yip….Mum-mum-mum-mum-mum-mum, GET A JOB 🎶…”Get a Job” – The Silhouettes 1958   https://tinyurl.com/4bcau8aw

🤼‍♂️The bar owner was BLUNT enough…there’s no room for nonsense,
And so he hired someone to be the bar’s defense…
The atmosphere was JOVIAL, the agenda hardly HIDDEN,
    You make a scene…you get thrown out…that’s it…simply good riddance…
So what we’re seeing here today…these two fools all a’SWOON,
They’re on their way out…Courtesy…the Bouncer in the room
He’s got them both in check for sure…this wrestler, name of Bob…
He loves his work and he’s proving how to HOLD DOWN A JOB!🤼‍♂️

I’m BURLY PRESSED for time, so I’ll make this quick…

The Bouncer, https://tinyurl.com/2fr7jeej Bob, was a WRESTLER… https://tinyurl.com/f33u6usd  who are known for pinning and HOLDing their opponents DOWN…Note his dialogue…and how he’s HOLDing both men DOWN…And our question is giving us the word…WORKING = JOB. It’s all there, making this another easy, breezy solve…Bob enjoyed being able to….HOLD DOWN A JOB https://tinyurl.com/yuwuescm (Note definitions 1 and 2)…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The bartender is wearing skull 💀 earrings…Bob’s sporting what looks to be an extended, exaggerated variant of a Soul Patch  https://tinyurl.com/bdhxcwwy that’s tied with a bow…And the money shot? Look very closely at the beer taps…they bear the Signature Jumble “J”…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend who was ADDICTED to MUD Wrestling…but now he’s been CLEAN for six months…🤼‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️Unable to HOLD DOWN A JOB, he figured he was way past the point of coming across JOVIAL about things, and knew he needed to be BLUNT with his wife…keeping things HIDDEN just wouldn’t work any more…(no pun intended)…and he just hoped she wouldn’t SWOON or do anything of that nature…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️His Father had been very BLUNT, he’d need to go to work,
There’d be no SWOON, no blah, blah, blah…the time gone where he’d shirk…
The mood no longer JOVIAL, Dad’s feelings far from HIDDEN,
And Junior needs to def take heed…’cause the man’s hardly kiddin’
So Jr went and got a gig…he shucks corn on the cob…
And Dad now has his fingers crossed that he’ll HOLD DOWN A JOB! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. What a way to cap off a very successful week Saturday ! All the anagrams came right to me , except one that wasn’t JOVIAL ! And I knew that we used it not too long ago ! But the jumble was very rewarding ! Thinking of a link to pro wrestling I saw the word DOWN , with a big question mark , then i tried HOLD , because those two words had to do with wrestling , and what was left was A JOB , and I got it ! I was so happy ! I have to admit I lucked through that a little bit , but I was very pleased ! And Angela , I loved that song by the Silhouettes ! Your post was very close to what I saw and that makes me proud ! What a great way to cap the week of solvable jumbles !!!!!!

  5. At first glance, nothing came to mind, even though I saw that the phrase ended with (maybe) A JOB. But the anagrams were easily solved and HOLD DOWN sorted themselves out. Looking at the picture, that’s exactly what they were doing, so I missed that connection for a blind solve. You chose one of my favorite songs from way back when….great choice. I see that weather is still a factor in northeast. Be safe. Terry

  6. Good morning. Success on both parts but I almost gave up on the cartoon answer but then that light bulb went on and I was able to solve it. Enjoyed your song choice Angela which is one of my favorites. I always thought that when they played it, they should follow up with “Got a job” just like when they played “Under the boardwalk” it should follow with “Up on the roof”. I have all four of them. You gave me a big smile with your ending joke, but slipped when you informed us about National Lollipop Day and didn’t add the song to go with it. Thanks for starting off our day. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you…I think…😂😂 A song for the National Day? I’ve never done that. But just for you, today only, I’ll make an exception…And you’re welcome…I’m happy to start your day off with a smile….Take care…🍭🙋🏻‍♀️

      • You put a much bigger smile on my face with lollipop. One of the questions on a radio show was who was the famous person that did the POP sound. Thanks again Angela.

        • YVW, Paul. And yes, last time I posted that song Terry and I spoke about the man who made the Pops! So campy! Have a good one, Paul. Take care. 🍭🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. A note on today: Today is the 55th anniversary of the first man’s moon landing. We saw it live on TV at my Aunt’s house in Euclid Ohio.Chuck.

  8. Enjoyed the cute cartoon drawing today. Saw Job right away and that left hold & down so it was an easy solve all around today. Great song choice as always, Miss Angela. Have a good day all! Betty
