🦦🦡The reunion finally was all set…it would be THROWN in June, The Badger and the Otter were still on their Honeymoon… They thought their schedule might IMPAIR them getting to the meet, (And BALLET’s sitting this one out, it’s definitely defeat)… They rearranged a little, got to UNTUCK and unsnag, Because they knew that missing out would surely be a drag… (And here’s where SUFFIX bites the dust…it just can’t find a home), Let’s get back to the Badger…speaking in those SUGARY tones… He introduces his new bride…so lucky that he’s got her… And tells his cousin, “Here she is, meet my SIGNIFICANT “OTTER”🦡🦦
Ok…Knowing what the Mustelidae Family https://tinyurl.com/5ymz9sx5 is from doing so many Crossword Puzzles, and seeing the quotation marks, I STOATally got today’s solve immediately. Two of the Early Birds though?…They tried BADGERing me, thinking they’d WEASEL it out of me… https://tinyurl.com/2kzzen48 …I heard…”ER, MINE giving me a hint”?…and “This is taking too long FERRET to sink in”…But another, my friend MARTEN? He got it right away…So, just like the story of the Ark, there we were two and two…
So…Today, a Family Reunion. And our attendees…At back: Art Phil BADGER, his wife, Carlotta OTTER, and his cousin, Vin WEASEL. At front: WOLF Erine, and Thelonious SKUNK. (At least I think it’s a Skunk…after looking at a few pictures…I just gave up…it started to REEK havoc on my nerves)…Anyway…With our question giving us “Weasel’s cousin”, and “showing up with”, the dialogue mentioning “Worms and Water” and Art introducing his wife, his = SIGNIFICANT OTHER to Vin, and of course the quotation marks… I was SABLE to get this one at first BITE…And I hope y’all did too…The Weasel’s cousin showed up with his…SIGNIFICANT “OTTER”…https://tinyurl.com/yp84xx9e …And we’ve once again GRISON to the occasion…
Jeff’s💎Gems? All of the dialogue is hilarious. But if you know Jeff, you know that he went to the University of MICHIGAN, and is a diehard WOLVERINE fan…So great Shout Out to the 2023 College Football National Champions…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who said everyone at his last reunion got food poisoning…Runs in the family…🦦🦡🙋🏻♀️
…And a Shout Out to David…6 words…6 new Anagrams! 👏🏻👏🏻!

🤦🏻♀️Finding herself in what seemed to be another BALLET, I mean battle, with her son, (he, always the one to UNTUCK his shirt), over school work, she was THROWN for a loop when they came to the “S” words of the week…SUGARY and SUFFIX…he missed them both…and frustrated wondering what could possibly IMPAIR him from remembering them, she gave up and called for her SIGNIFICANT OTHER to take over…🤦🏻♀️
🙇🏻♂️He’s trying to UNTUCK his shirt, it looks like a BALLET, He isn’t quite receptive right now to his Father, Ray… His belt seemed to IMPAIR him, he felt he was all thumbs, Yet here was Dad…in SUGARY tones…he wished he’d just stay mum… Not in the mood for lessons, SUFFIX that and prefix this, He’s THROWN aside the thought to pass…he knows he’s run amiss But he knows too if Dad gives up…he’s dealing with his Mother… And she won’t sugar-coat things…she’s the strict SIGNIFICANT OTHER!🙇🏻♂️

I suppose I OTTER take more time and relax , it was a fun jumble , just not there for me ! I did like your song Angela , and your friend was a fun one too ! The Jumble eluded me today, even with the anagrams solved. I did, however, think that OTTER could be part of the solution…..I just didn’t pursue that train of thought. It’s been a good Jumble week, though. Very appropriate song choice, Angela. Y’all have a great Sunday Funday. Terry
Good morning. No problem with the words but failed on the cartoon answer. I had no clue whatsoever. That song brought back memories of singing it to my kids but after the first line I have no memory of the rest. It was fun to hear it again. Until tomorrow take care.

I struggled with this Sunday’s Jumble much more than usual. I saw the skunk and thought the second word was “scent”. That was getting me nowhere. I followed the links provided and saw that a skunk is not in the same family as weasel that did include otter. I became sure otter was the second word and the quote marks just made me jump to “other”. Then it did take a few minutes to get “significant”.

In this family, ties should be strong
Within the clan to which they belong
But best keep their mouth closed
Just stay nice ‘n’ composed
To make sure they all get along.
Don’t express opinions too blunt
To a cousin, an uncle, an aunt
While some might think it a jest
You can’t say that for the rest
To some it could be an affront!
