  1. Good Morning, Everyone…👨🏻‍🍳LEEK AND YE SHALL FIND👨🏻‍🍳

    🎶…”Green Onions”…🎶 – Booker T & The MG’s 1962  https://tinyurl.com/3pyb67tu

👨🏻‍🍳Frank feels it would HOIST any dish, whether cooked or even served raw,

GROUND beef in a sauce…it’d surely enhance…and trust there are dishes galore…

Whether for a BUFFET or dining at night, a salad with ramps…quite a PHOTO,

That’s why he is saying that yes, he believes, the people do need to know…

The flavor ramps bring, the garlicky twist…once tasted they’d surely be sought…

So we see Frank here, with new recipes…that boil down to FOOD FOR THOUGHT…👨🏻‍🍳

It might sound like a WILD idea…but once it LEEKS out? People will love it…

So…Today …Our chef, Frank Orrall, https://tinyurl.com/2wd9tth8  the founder of Poi Dog Pondering, https://tinyurl.com/48ttmse7  who is also an accomplished chef, (with a cookbook coming out soon), and his SOUS/SOUL mate, Sophia. And we can CUT right to the chase with this one…We’re talking about FOOD…and our question gives us “DREAMED UP” (=THOUGHT) while Sophia’s dialogue is giving us “thinking”…and Frank’s “need to KNOW”….perfectly describe the idiom that solves today’s puzzle…So let’s face it…we don’t need much THOUGHT here…Frank wants to introduce “Ramps”, (wild leeks)  https://tinyurl.com/fxvp6kbk into his dishes…and that’s FOOD FOR THOUGHT… https://tinyurl.com/yk9dfuhk  …And KITCHEN this one was a breeze…There should be no BEEF here today…ONION all should have solved it in no THYME…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The little guitar on Frank’s coat…the ramps in his hand, his notebook…and all the spices on the table…Jeff’s definitely COOKED up another good one today…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe… …And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who heard that a chef at our neighborhood Italian restaurant PASTA way, and applied for the job. Only he found out that they only pay the staff on an FLOURLY basis, and he felt he KNEADed more DOUGH… But he figured he’d take the WHISK because he was seriously running out of THYME to get his bills paid….Things were really CREPEing up on him…so he KNEADed to CHOP them down as much as he could. Unfortunately though, there was another long time chef there, who had a bit of epilepsy, and in the first week, my friend got into an argument with him over a SEIZURE salad, and being STEAMED, started flexing his MUSSELS…Of course the owner wasn’t pleased, but he agreed to give my friend one more chance…only he was cutting his CELERY…So my friend quit. Now, once again, he’s walking around feeling all bruised and BATTERed, and as always, looking for a shoulder to FRY on…But at this point no one’s willing to lend him any more DOUGH…We’re FED up…He’s just such a PIZZA work…and let’s face it, after all this THYME, we CANNOLI do so much…👨🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Good morning again. I forgot to give a shout out to National wine and cheese day even though I celebrated it a little early over the three day break. We visited two wineries and had a great time. Take care.

  2. 🧆It was FOOD FOR THOUGHT for sure, when the inspectors couldn’t wait to HOIST the PHOTO of the GROUND beef that was served at the BUFFET…🧆

👍🏻They’d HOIST the flag together…get the game off the GROUND,
A BUFFET on tap for later…and PHOTO booths abound
A festive time it should be…with good intentions brought…
It was planned for a long time…with plenty FOOD FOR THOUGHT…👍🏻

  4. Good end of the work werk ! I got all the anagrams and layed out the 14 letters C, but couldn’t come up with the answer! The first word was FOOD but couldn’t remember the old saying ! But suzie looked at me and said FOOD FOR THOUGHT and I was so happy ! But anyways we got it and I was so pleased with your song Angela ! And your friends story with all of your play on words was sooo entertaining ! Thank you ! So ok let’s bring on Saturday and have a good one !!!

  5. Yes, I’ll have to give a major shoutout to your friend’s story this morning…way over the minimum of outstanding puns, for sure. After unscrambling the four words, It was either GOOD FOR or FOOD FOR, and what was left resembled THOUGHT…if I chose FOOD FOR. There you go, another successful solve and so looking forward to maybe some Hot Fudge, Wine and Cheese today. Thanks, Angela

    • YW, Terry…and thank you. And I’m looking forward to them too! 👨🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. That was Terry above, and forgot to mention learning a new word…RAMPS. Hmmm, I’ll have to check out the produce section. Terry

    • I love the taste of them. I have them growing …👨🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. The words were a breeze and the cartoon answer was a close second once I put the letters down. My first reaction was Good for the first word but was unable to come up with the last word. Once I switched to Food everything fell into place. Angie you just didn’t hit a home run with your pick for today’s theme , you hit a grand slam. Loved the song and I do have the album. You also had me laughing with all your puns. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Thank you…And sometimes the music just picks itself…it instantly pooped into my head…and let’s face it, what else could it be today? Green Onions for Green Onions!… I have the album too…it belonged to my Dad….and it never gets old. Happy to know I have you a few laughs. Take care 👨🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Finally solved the cartoon as I thought it was ‘good’ for thought at first, but lacked the second G so then saw the answer, ‘food’ for thought! Chuck.

  9. Kudos for sticking with it, Professor! 👨🏻‍🍳🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Fun Jumble today. The anagrams were easy and the cartoon solution took me an extra few minutes but I got it. National Wine and Cheese Day, on a Friday ? Okay, I’m In ! Great post and a great friend story Angela. Thank you, Stan
