I hated BLUFFING my way through my poem today…but my HEART just wasn’t in it…
So…Today…A Poker Game. And while Poker is hardly a stranger to the Jumble, today’s players are….(Real life people Jeff knows, or RELL life people from a movie scene, IDK….but I’m way too BEAT to DEAL with identifying them)…All except our resident Poker lover, Jeff. He’s DRAWN us so many Poker cartoons over the years, that it’d be a safe BET to say with a STRAIGHT face that the number could be comPAIRable to his golf ones. But today, he seems to not be playing his usual weekly game with his friends https://tinyurl.com/5cmhhse9 that we’ve seen beFOUR. Today we’re at a casino. And that’s not the only surprising thing. Jeff has a load of chips in front of him…Be still my HEART…He’s definitely in a BETTOR place than we’ve seen before. How iDEAL this would be if it were real life…And maybe it is…You know that Jeff…he always has an ACE up his sleeve…But anyway…enough with the CHIP chat…let’s get down to the business at HAND..Ok…to be honest, there’s really not much to DEAL with here today. With our question giving us “Lost all his money” (=he’s BROKE) and the dialogue of both the loser and his opponent adding to it…”beat your” …”lose”…”that’s all my money”, besides the dealer’s…”if you’re DONE”…this solve unFOLDED on its own…He lost all his money…because he choose to…”Go all in”…to…GO FOR BROKE… https://tinyurl.com/s5t7eacr …And today we were HANDed this easy, breezy one on a silver platter…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who plays way too much poker… and loses way too much money. His wife recently told him that she’s going to throw him out because of his obsession… but he swears she’s only BLUFFING. TBT, I don’t think she is…. And I had to tell him that if he doesn’t PLAY HIS CARDS RIGHT, she’s going to send him STRAIGHT out the door, while she’ll have a FULL HOUSE of all his possessions. …And with STAKES that high, he really needs to learn to DEAL with his problem… before he ends up SEEING everything he’s worked for all his life being FLUSHed down the toilet…. I really hope he.STRAIGHTens out soon, because if you ask me, I swear he’s not PLAYING with a full DECK if he thinks his BETTOR half will FOLD…♣️🙋🏻♀️

⏰ He knew he’d BROOD over his GERBIL losing its FIZZLE, but as he watched the CLOCK, he realized that he’d GO FOR BROKE if he sat here staring at it any longer…⏰
🐹 The GERBIL and it’s little BROOD caused interest in the class, He knew that it would FIZZLE out…but now it’s a big blast… The CLOCK showed almost time to leave…so he told the wee Folk… “Let’s pick this up tomorrow…where we might just GO FOR BROKE”…🐹
♣️ Playing poker one needs to be slick, It tales skill, yes…and a bit of tricks… Knowing if you should hold, And of course when to fold…. And to not have your eyes darting quick…♣️
🤷🏻♂️Poker face is a trait one must learn, For those times when you do the slow burn… Or the times you’re on top, Either way, one must stop… From expressing one bit of concern….🤷🏻♂️

Great way to end the werk ! I got all the anagrams and then the jumbles first word that came to me was BROKE ! Then what was left could only be GO F O R ! Good morning. Had a quick start to the puzzle but couldn’t come up with the blind solve but once I put the letters down after a long minute the answer became obvious. You had me laughing immediately once I saw your song choice Angela. Many years ago at our monthly get together I had won $500 in cards and ordered something that I wanted but there was a back log so I stayed away from the club for two months but the item was still not in yet so I went back to the club and wouldn’t you know it I gave it all back. Never did get the item.
