    She drives an IMPALA JALOPY…just some background…oh…and speaks Yiddish…
    And instead of resenting the GOSSIP that’s she’s just sitting back on a shelf..
    She’s telling her parents quite nicely….that she’s def been APPLYING HERSELF…🏫

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who applied to a college that had a program allowing students to earn their tuition by working in the on-campus bakery. He applied, and hoped for the best, since the program wasn’t open to everyone… It was run on a strictly KNEAD-to-know basis…🏫🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🚌Despite steadfastly APPLYING HERSELF, she still felt as if she’d never FINISH restoring the old JALOPY, an IMPALA…and couldn’t wait to get rid of its CHEESE-like color, and FLORAL interior….so that her nosy neighbors would finally have nothing to GOSSIP about…🚌

    🤦🏻‍♀️ Her dyslexia caused many problems…and this time the GOSSIP was ripe,
    The CHEESE…she read  it as JALOPY… Jalapeño is what they had typed…
    IMPALA she saw it as pasta…FLORAL ‘stead of flavor appeared…
    Her FINISH with the list? Quite poorly…’twas worse than at first she had feared…
    Time wasted…discouragement rampant… no way she found things on the shelves…
    And she knew…the words she’d be hearing? …”Is there no APPLYING HERSELF”?…🤦🏻‍♀️

  8. Not a great day for solving and it all started on a FLORAL stumble. Finished unscrambling words and couldn’t come up with any tangible results. On a sad note, we thought a holiday visit to the Texas Hill Country would be fun, but while there, we were severely rained out and came home early on the 4th, as all activities were cancelled. Bless their souls. Thanks for a good Sinatra ballad and your post, Angela. Terry

  9. Good afternoon. Took some time to get all the words and solve the cartoon answer but I stuck with it. I had put it aside and went out for a quick game of bocce with friends. It seemed to go easier with the break in between. Always love when you play your favorite singer Angela with all your posts. Until tomorrow take care.
