“BATTER Than Therapy Cupcakes”….Where once their CUP runneth over…
So…Today, a neighborhood Cupcake Shop, where at one time MUFFIN compared. The owners, Cuba PUDDING, Jr, and his wife, Sienna FILLER, have operated the business for years, ever since it was left to Cuba by his Uncle, Eric StoneSWEET…but now, alas, the time has CRUMB to close (=CLOSURE) their doors. And even though it’s BAKING their hearts, with today’s economy being what is, the cost of everything RISING, it seems the &*#%,] just hit the FLAN. With so many people now baking their own goods, and their hopes of the landlord at YEAST cutting them a break on the rent didn’t PAN out, unfortunately no BATTER what they did, they were COOKED…So they put up a “Going Out of Business” sign, told their customers to “CRUMB and get it”, shed a TIER or two, and now they’re just WHISKing for the best. And all our dialogue, “sad”, “time”…”goodbye”…and “on to”…definitely FITS THE MOLD”…So, today, we see them dropping by, one last time…to get a last look…since they KNEAD SOME CLOSURE…https://tinyurl.com/5d42vmzn …And the FROSTING on the cake? We’ve CLOSED this one out in no time…These easy, breezy puzzles just keep getting BATTER and BATTER as time goes BYE…
Jeff’s💎Gems? We can’t dismiss Jeff’s name for the shop, with the word “Closure” being a psychological and emotional concept…so his use of “Therapy” is spot on. The “BATTER THAN”? Kudos! 👏🏻👏🏻!…Just perfect for the BAKE-CAKE-sion…It just DOZEN get any BATTER than this! …And there’s a solitary cupcake left inside on a shelf, with a sign reading…“Sorry we’re closed”…You know what they say…”Parting is such SWEET sorrow”…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who recently told us that he was thinking of opening a bakery…because he KNEADED DOUGH…I have to admit I was surprised, since he’s been FLAKY for as long as I can remember, and has really done nothing more than LOAF around his whole life…so it seemed pretty much going against the GRAIN. Where he comes up with these half-BAKED ideas, I’ll never know. Never one to be a BREADWINNER, he’s always been more of a DESSERTer when it came to holding down any type of job, and he never really fulFILLED much of anything he started. And I reminded him that running a bakery was no NAAN to five position…plus he’d been a WAFER so long from any type of gainful employment, that I can’t even remember the last time he earned himself a FLOURly rate doing anything. To be honest, it kind of gives me the CREPES how he’s managed to survive so far, with his thinking that life’s all sunshine and FLOURS…So him RISING to the challenge of running a business just takes the CAKE. But he, being who he is, came back at us with BUNS GLAZING, saying that he knew that this time he’d hit in the right note. To hear him tell it?…”At YEAST hear me out…I’m on a ROLL this time, and I know what I’m doing. This bakery I’m thinking of starting? I’ll just be making Bundt cakes, crullers, donuts and bagels. And I’m going to call it “HOLE Foods”…And truth be told? Even though I HOLE-heartedly doubt he’ll succeed…and this newest PIE-in-the-sky idea of his seems full of HOLES, I have to give him credit for his RYE sense of humor…And I guess the rest just remains to be SEED…🧁🙋🏻♀️

I’m a little thirsty today ! All the anagrams made me very happy ! They all required rearranging the letters at a Quick Look and the word came ! This one was simple , but hard to see it right away ! And CLOSURE didnt come out to me ! So I had to look a little ! I enjoyed it and Angela I loved your song and your description of your friend was very good !
