    I’ll keep this short, since I’m sure we’re all busy…

    Today, as with many Thanksgiving Days in the past, we join Jeff and his wife Kathy enjoying their Holiday with Jeff’s good friend, Mac King https://tinyurl.com/2d6d7f54 and his wife, Jennifer Sils. And with the word Gravy = SAUCE in our question, it being mentioned twice more in our dialogue, in addition to it’s praises being sung = AWESOME by everyone, plus the presence of the quotation marks, you have to know where this is heading…Everyone thought the GRAVY…WAS “SAUCE-SOME”…https://tinyurl.com/pb53v65m …And we GOBBLED this easy, breezy one right up…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? It looks to be some game equipment shown through the window behind Mac…but it’s the NFL game on the TV showing the Lions 35 vs the Bears 13 that BEARS paying attention to…Yes, they’re playing at 12:30 PM EST today…but the score? I guess we can tell where Jeff’s put his money!

    • Off the immediate topic but …
      Does anyone else experience the same issue with the Chicago Tribune Jumble web page: does not render a proper print image of the puzzle. More often than not I hit the “Print” button and it gets the text, and the boxes with the circles, but no cartoon.

  3. A very happy thanksgiving to all the jumble family and to our leader Angela ! My thirst was not quenched today ! The anagrams were all there , but I couldn’t see the solve !I am still very thankful for the jumble ! Everyone have a nice thanksgiving and I’m ready for Friday !!

    • Tk you, Jim. You never got back to me yesterday about where you’re finding the puzzle before midnight. There’s a lot of people out there who’d like to get it early too. We used to have a site that posted it at 9 PM EST, but they stopped doing so a while ago. 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Yes I did reply to you , I don’t know why you didn’t get it , but I use Dayton daily news , and honeyslug , and word /explorer , and the Dayton daily news has the cartoon right at midnight , please let me know if you get this , thank you Angela !

  4. I don’t know why most people are calling this hard. I could get “WAS SAUCE-SOME” on the first try just by thinking about the gravy and the thought about it.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving to all and good morning especially Angela. The words were there but with the quotation marks I went straight for the answer. Have a good time with family or friends and above all take care.

  6. They SAW SOME SAUCE but that splits it 3 “4-5” instead of 3 “5-4”. Apparently they thought it was SAUCE SOME even though it was just SOME SAUCE. Further there probably are some people who solved this Jumble yesterday. Some newspapers don’t print on holidays now, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch is one of them. So they printed both yesterday’s and today’s Jumble today. Happy Thanksgiving.

  7. Like yesterday, a wee bit too cryptic for a quick blind solve….so back to the old fashioned way, unscrambled anagrams and put it neatly all together. Everyone enjoy this festive holiday with family and friends. Terry

Today I am thankful that I still get a newspaper delivered to my house every day and I’m thankful for all of the Cartoonists, writers, delivery people and everyone involved that make it possible for me to enjoy my morning ritual. I start with the Jumble and then move onto the Crossword Puzzles, Sudoku and Word Search. Angela, I’m thankful that I get to read your post every day and for the comments from your readers.   9. I struggled to get Stereo and then failed on the answer. Though I tried to think of a word for gravy, the obvious word, Sauce, did not come to mind. Happy Thanksgiving to Angela and everyone. Caroline

  10. Unscrabling the words was harder than usual, especially STEREO. We had it a few months ago and it was easy then. The answer was surprisingly easy, although I first saw the nonsensical WAS cause-mose. I then rearranged it to WAS SAUCE-SOME.

  12. Timely puzzle for today. Had to resort to paper and pencil but did figure out the cartoon answer after some pondering. Happy Thanksgiving to all! 🦃 Betty

  13. Easy anagrams, but only got the “was” part of the answer. I wish they’d have skippped the hyphenated/quotation marks double whammy and given us something a bit more straightforward like WAS AWESOME SAUCE. When over 55% couldn’t sauce…er, suss this out, they might want to make it a bit more doable.
