  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🐍BOA OH BOA…HOW BIG YOU’VE GOTTEN🐍

    🎶 AT LAST…my love has come aLONG…🎶…”At Last” – Etta James 1960  https://tinyurl.com/39erdtfm

🐍No longer now a question of when he MIGHT be grown,

No SLANT he shows, straight as a rod, see his full length UNLOAD…

As if he BOUGHT his Folks a gift…they’ve waited in the past…

To see their son now all grown up…they’re saying…”AT LONG LAST”…🐍

…As easy as this one is, I hardly need to SHED any light on it at all!

So…Today…Somewhere in the tropics of South America. And we find the Anaconda https://tinyurl.com/4rd343p4  Family: SNAKE, RATTLE and ROLL, celebrating the fact that little Roll HISS little no LONGER…And as Roll HISS heard saying “FINALLY”, HISS parents are thinking…”As the LAST (= Final)  member of our family to reach maturity, (= Long) we guess we won’t have you WRAPPED aROUND our fingers any LONGer…AT LONG LAST  https://tinyurl.com/5n86dchs you’ve arrived” …And we were hardly COILED, I mean foiled by this easy, breezy one…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Roll’s big brother up in the tree…The reed serving as a ruler, showing the markings 1 to 5, and the little creature peeking out from inside the reed. I’ve no idea at CRAWL what it might be…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who went back and forth over whether or not he should give up his pet snake. Seems that it made him so VIPERtensive that sadly he had to….But he’s still so CONSTRICTED over it..🐍🙋🏻‍♀️

…And a Shout Out to David. All new anagrams today! 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻Thinking that AT LONG LAST she MIGHT go ahead and UNLOAD all the extra ornaments she’d BOUGHT over the years gave her a totally different SLANT on things…👍🏻

👍🏻He needed get a fresh new SLANT, it MIGHT help him adjust,
    To moving to a smaller home…and not feel it’s a bust…
He really should UNLOAD a lot, too much BOUGHT in the past…
A fresh new start is welcome…time has come now AT LONG LAST…👍🏻

  4. 🐍Snake in the grass we’ve often heard,
But here it’d be quite absurd…
    The meaning won’t gel.
    ‘Cause what this puzzle tells…
Is that snake is a positive word…🐍

👍🏻Any parent does take certain pride,
    When there’s certain things can’t be denied…
Like how their kids have grown,
And so get to be known…
    As adults…now taken in stride…👍🏻

👍🏻And the child, he too feels the joy,
As we see here today with our boy…
    He’s no longer a kid,
    And he’s def gotten rid…
Of the feeling that he needs be coy…👍🏻

    👏🏻👏🏻Together the family cheers,
With smiles reaching ears to ears…
    And Roll is so proud,
    He’s shouting out loud…
“I’ve finally caught up to my peers!👏🏻👏🏻

    🐍So hats off to maturity,
The thing that we all yearn to see…
    And this group of four,
    Are waiting no more…
At long last it has come to be! 🐍

  5. Very clever ! Typical phrase we say all the time , AT LAST and then the length of an anaconda , LONG ! No hump to get over Wednesday and I’m so happy ! Great mid week jumble ! And Angela another song with the title of the jumble solve ! Very nice post ! So let’s get ready for thirsty-Thursday ! Everyone have a great no hump Wednesday !!!!

      • I use word/unscrambler , Dayton Daily News , or honeyslug ! Dayton daily news has the cartoon after midnight , but I usually have the jumble done and my comment ready to post at midnight ! My schedule works that way best for me .believe me , my days are centered around the jumble ! It’s a must !

        • No, I know you DO the puzzle before midnight, my question is where are you finding the puzzle posted before midnight. Tk you 🙋🏻‍♀️

          • Some papers don’t have a paper on holidays. These papers print both the holiday and the day before on the day before.

  6. Just a wee bit too cryptic for a Hump Day blind solve….but anagrams were easy, and solved quickly in the old fashioned way. Nice song choice from one of the jazz world icons. And moreover….it’s Bavarian Cream Pie day !!! If you’re planning on a big gathering tomorrow, please give yourself some needed rest time, too. Terry

    • Tks, Terry. No matter how many times I hear it, the song gives me chills every time. An amazing rendition. 🐍🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Fun Jumble today. I guess I was like Terry today as I solved it the “old fashioned way”. Angela, I was going to ask who the little critter was inside the reed but I see that you weren’t quite sure either. Thank you for the beautiful song by Etta James this morning. Have a great Thanksgiving Eve ! Thanks, Stan

  8. Good morning. The words were a breeze but failed on the cartoon answer. I had tall stuck in my head for one of the words and I drew a blank from there. Maybe it’s because I hate snakes so much that I wasn’t able to think clearly. Really loved the Etta James song Angela. I also did your other jumble before posting this. Have a great day and until tomorrow take care.

  9. Good thing I solved the jumble. If not, I would have been “snake bitten!”.

    Steve from Toronto.

  10. Another quick solve, must be because of an easy Thanksgiving week! Happy Turkey Day to one and all! Chuck!
