    🐵 So circa the mid ‘60s…with British Invasion strong,
    A group not all that HUMBLE happened to come along…
    And these four men, yes did ENROLL to be part of a group,
    With music and a TV show…it’s news was all the scoop…
    (And BASKET can’t hold water…nor DISOWN fit the bill,
    I’ll BANISH them from here today …they just don’t fit the drill)
    Does success equal POTENT…I’m not sure…nevertheless…
    It’s true that people did enjoy the group’s “MONKEE” BUSINESS…🐵

    I think the only way to just glance at today’s cartoon and immediately get the solve is to know who these four gentlemen are. If not, one can of course Google any one of the names and that should keep you from having any problem RHYTHM…(Plus the puzzle’s a repeat from 2015, and I’m sure many of you remember it).   3. 🤷🏻‍♀️Waiting to ENROLL in the “MONKEY BUSINESS Contest”, they were surprised to find such a HUMBLE turnout, but the scent from the BASKET of the person ahead of them was POTENT enough to make them feel that maybe they should DISOWN and BANISH the whole idea…🤷🏻‍♀️

    👎🏻 The committee did DISOWN him, wondering why he did ENROLL,
    Went all hell-in-a-hand BASKET…now so out of control…
    He was so far from HUMBLE and POTENT his dislike,
    For anything they stood for…he needs to take a hike
    So yes, they chose to BANISH him…made sure they had a witness…
    They’d reached their limit with it all…him and his MONKEY BUSINESS…👎🏻

    • I know that Angela will oftentimes add a link to the kid’s jumble. In addition I am able to access a comprehensive version online by simply typing in kids jumble. I was wondering if anyone knows if there’s a source for the kids to confirm their own answers similar to the way the Jumble answers are confirmed in this column. Thank you for your consideration.   6. One of the best Sunday jumbles I’ve had ! I got all the anagrams and they were all fun ! The jumble was so neat to have the members of the Monkees names in the solution that it was so fun ! When I read that and saw the quotation marks MONKEES was there and BUSINESS was easy ! And Angela your song was a good one ! I used to watch them all the time ! I really like their music ! And your friend

  8. I looked at those names and sorta knew what was going on, but didn’t really put it all together, which just goes to show how I’m pretty much out of touch with much of the 60’s music. I must admit to watching and enjoying their TV show back then !! Thanks for the Junior Jumble and have a great Sunday. Terry

      About singing and who’s taking part…
      The TV brought them fame,
      Questions though did remain…
      But they did win the young people’s hearts…🤷🏻‍♂️

      🎸High achievers…there always was doubt,
      Real musicians…or just fly-about…
      Lennon: “Comic relief…
      But I don’t have a beef”…
      And they managed to garner some clout…🎸

      📺 Silly antics played week after week,
      And their TV show viewers did seek…
      Led to making them known,
      For two years seeds were sown…
      And then record sales definitely did peak…📺

      👍🏻 So as pop culture icons they grew,
      For the times they were something anew…
      They mixed fiction with fact,
      And it proved the right track…
      And so the success did ensue… 👍🏻

      Bought their records to play in abodes…
      And they had a good run,
      Blending music with fun…

  11. Fairly easy today. DISOWN and BANISH took a little effort, while I guessed monkey BUSINESS for the answer. The lack of a Y led to the answer.

  12. Good morning. Not an easy one for me today. I started before church and completed when I got back. But I was stuck on three words for some time and then drew a blank on the cartoon answer so I did the dishes and lo and behold while sprucing up the answer appeared. You nailed it again Angela with you song choice. Until tomorrow take care.
