🎶Come FLY with me…let’s fly, let’s fly away…🎶…”Come Fly With Me” – Mr Frank Sinatra (original recording date) 1958 https://tinyurl.com/4dk3su2v
🐎As Martha says, he’s SWORN in, and needs be careful true, Nelson and George are “flying”…(like HELIUM…a clue)… And George had many horses, CACHE may come to mind, Did they ENROLL “equestrian”?…Or did George just think in kind? ‘Twas no secret his favorite horse was Nelson…barring none… And so we see George here today…aboard his AIR “HORSE” ONE!🐎
You gotta love this one!…PLANE and simple!…So SADDLE up…and let’s FLY through this…
Ok…Today…MOUNT Vernon…where George Washington, our FIRST = ONE President kept his stable of HORSEs. https://tinyurl.com/3ax5xmsf And we can cut right to the CHASE with this ONE. There’s so many clues…Just think how the President travels…on AIR FORCE ONE… https://tinyurl.com/5n7c5hy2 And it helps to know that Nelson was his favorite HORSE, his number ONE…The other big clues…Our question omitting the word “HORSE” and using stallion instead…it giving us “he RODE on” and the CHERRY on the cake? George quoted as saying, “Nelson’s really “flying” = AIR (plane) today”. Put it all together, pay BREED, I mean heed to the quotation marks…and George rode on…AIR “HORSE” ONE…And there’s no chance you’ll STIRRUP any trouble here …We’re definitely FIRST in line to put this ONE to bed…Just as I told Marvin, one of the Early Birds…”MAR…THA puzzle’s another easy, breezy ONE”…
Jeff’s💎Gems? The “Mansion at Mount Vernon” https://tinyurl.com/2bzwe9dp in the background…Martha using the word, BROKEN…as George is “breaking” Nelson in to jump…(and I’m sure she CANTER….ase the image in her mind of George getting hurt)…and ONE can’t help but wonder what Nelson’s thinking…From the look on his face? I figure it’s MANEly…”By George!…LEAPING lizards…now what”? …
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I was going to tell you about my friend who had a horse…but it ran away…so I changed my mind….It was just a terrible tale of WHOA…🐎🙋🏻♀️
…And once more, a Shout Out 🗣️to David…All new anagrams again today!🙋🏻♀️

🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️The reports on AIR FORCE ONE and HELIUM were both due tomorrow…and the teen, whose parents chose to ENROLL in extra help classes, had SWORN to his parents that it was done…but instead they found him playing with his CACHE of video games…🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️
✈️ They had a CACHE of HELIUM, all SWORN to keep it quiet, The shortage for the kids balloons almost had caused a riot… The list on which to ENROLL for when they’d start to sell, Was longer than expected…and the numbers still did swell One set of parents pleading…before sales had begun… They needed enough to fill up the party’s AIR FORCE ONE!✈️
🐎A horse is a horse, yes, of course, And some tend to jump easily, sans force… They just go for the leap, No matter how steep… Proving they’re a talented horse…🐎
⭐️Some may shy away, not up to par, To go jumping around over bars… But this horse that we see, Name of Nelson, is he… Is showing to be quite the star…⭐️
🐎Horses? Washington def had a fleet, Though not known if he had them compete… But to George…Nelson ranked, Take that def to the bank… It’s a fact history made concrete…🐎
🤷🏻♀️And today we see Nelson perform, Whether or not it’s out of the norm… George is def riding high, But we hear Martha sigh… ‘Cause she’s thinking that George should conform…🤷🏻♀️
🤦🏻♀️With concern that he might take a fall, She’s reminding George that after all… He’s the President now, And may have to kowtow… And stop jumping over stone walls!🤦🏻♀️

Good morning. I will admit with Jim that your choice of song Angela did make up (a little) for my lack of success today with not getting Helium and a complete blank on the cartoon puzzle. The beginning of the week was a cinch and the last two days has me wearing the dunce cap. Hoping tomorrow brings good results. Until then take care.

Good Morning, Paul. It’s the end of the week…here’s to the weekend taking a turn for the better. And I’m glad you enjoyed Sinatra…Take care. 🐎🙋🏻♀️

I’ll join your other two posters this morning…it was a catastrophic loss for the Jumble Cartoon answer…and like they pointed out, at least the Sinatra song made up for it. First of all, thought HORSE was part of the answer, but didn’t get anywhere for a blind solve. Then, solved the anagrams, but couldn’t put a first word down. Tried HIS, but that took the H for HORSE. With all that said, I sadly gave up and went to your delightful post. Think I’ll run to the piano later and play your song….till tomorrow….Terry

Adding insult to injury….just made a post, but it didn’t go thru…oh well. Here goes again. Like your other two posters, it was a catastrophic loss for the Jumble this morning. Thought HORSE was part of the answer, but couldn’t get further, so no blind solve. Solved anagrams and tried HIS as first word but that took the H for HORSE. At least the Sinatra song was a bright spot of the morning….and I think I’ll run to the piano later and play your excellent song choice for today. Thanks for interesting post….until tomorrow. Terry

YW, Terry…and thank you..and you saying that your post didn’t go through made me take a look. For some reason it’s in the Spam folder! Makes no sense at all, since this one posted…I’ve given up trying to figure Word Press out. The other day it told me I had published 1046 days in a row…which is grossly understated…Today? 181! I give up! Anyway…I’ll push your first comment through..And I’d love to be able to hear your rendition…it’s a great Cahn-Van Heusen classic…Enjoy your day, Terry…🐎🎶🙋🏻♀️

Friday wipeout as I failed to get cache and then put his as the first cartoon word so also lacked the ‘h’ for the middle word horse, a total Friday miss. Only good thing about the morning was the Sinatra song choice! Hopefully the rest of the day will go better.Chuck.

When I started, the only word I solved was sworn. I kept going, finally solving helium. Still couldn’t figure out while horse was in quotations. I started thinking it wasn’t horse. Then I thought it had to be. Finally, I came up with “one” and voila, solved. Took me a while but finally, success! Steve from Toronto

Hard one today. The anagrams weren’t too hard, but solving the answer was hard. I saw HORSE, but the letters left didn’t click. I tried ‘his’, but that didn’t work. I looked for three letter words, and finally saw AIR. Along with HORSE, that left ONE. I was amused with the answer, as it was so unexpected.

I was amused too, Dennis. Definitely a clever ONE. I think it’s a brilliant play on words! 👍🏻🐎🙋🏻♀️

Well, George was good at getting around
His steed simply flew off the ground
Jumped high in the air
Gave his staff a big scare
Definitely upwards-bound!
I wonder if George could foresee
What one day travel would be
A big bird in the sky
Flying way up high
I think he’d be sure to agree…….
That that was a better way
He’d give it a big okay
Just jump on a plane
Conduct your campaign
And get much more done in a day!

Crashed and burned today. Saw “horse” but just could’t come up with “air” and “one”. Sounds like I was in good company. Kudos to those who came up with the cartoon answer. Happy Friday all! Betty
