    🌿Meticulously they planted their small garden right outside,

    …The home they shared together…their FORMAT, work side by side…

    But PHOBIA is setting in, an OUTLAW has invaded,

    And POTENT it does seem to be..it’s left them aggravated…

    It’s weeds crept in all over…and TALLER do they grow, 

    They’ve proven very VIABLE…sprouted in every row….

    So here they are, they’re pulling ‘tween each and every column…

    The pesky bits of greenery….so they’ll ROOT OUT THE PROBLEM…🌿

    Ironically, just a month ago today, we saw this couple, Harrison GOURD and his wife, Elizabeth MOSS in the garden plot on the other side of their home…lamenting their battle with weeds….Although from the wording of our question, it LEAFS no SPROUT that this puzzle should have been first, since it states that weeds had “started cropping up”…Oh well, whatever…all’s well that GROUND SWELLS…

    SOW…today we hit the GROUND running…Everyone knows that when it comes to weeds, you have to pull them out by the ROOTS…which are seen being help up in our cartoon. So, with “weeds” in our question, and such a RICH dialogue…”So tired of these”= PROBLEM, “get all of it”, “no mercy” = the ROOT?…LOAM and behold…this one SPROUTED right off the page…Harrison and Liz are trying to…ROOT OUT THE PROBLEM… https://tinyurl.com/yuywzyss …And LETTUCE be honest here, this one was as easy, PEAsy as they come…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? While Beth may be heated, her skin’s as cool as a CUCUMBER…while Harry, wearing his Poi 40th Anniversary T-Shirt, has a face showing visible beads of sweat…And if you look real closely, beyond Beth’s head…you’ll find a rabbit tHARE…

    So…There you have it Folks..Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who tried growing FUNGI, but failed completely. I told him there’s MUSHROOM for improvement, and maybe he’d be better off starting with some HERBS…But despite it being SAGE advice, last I saw he had just dug a hole in his yard and filled it with water. I guess he meant WELL…but I told him that now he’s going to need to add more SOIL…Suffice to say, the PLOT thickens…🌿🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️In an effort to ROOT OUT THE PROBLEM, the committee drew up a FORMAT that could well serve as a VIABLE solution…but the TALLER of the last two holdouts, the one they dubbed the OUTLAW, had a PHOBIA that threatened to be POTENT enough to squash the entire deal…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🍅It seems as they grew TALLER, the PHOBIA set it,
    He worried as they bent a tad…much to his wife’s chagrin…
    He followed every FORMAT and VIABLE his skill,
    Yet POTENT was his concern…like an OUTLAW he set in
    Standing amidst tomato plants…looking so stern and solemn…
    He swore that he would not give up ‘til he’d ROOT OUT THE  PROBLEM…🍅

    Doing your best to see to their needs…
    But then out of the blue,
    What happens to you?
    You’re at the mercy of the weeds…🌿

    They’re popping up sure as the morn…
    You pull and you pick,
    You’ve no bailiwick…
    And you’re definitely feeling forlorn…🌽🫑

    There’s just no keeping those weeds at bay…
    You’re out there in the sun,
    Soon as day has begun…
    And still haven’t made much leeway…🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️

    🥬🫛So today with our couple we see,
    That they’re hoping their lettuce and peas…
    Don’t succumb to weed growth,
    While it’s killing them both…
    ‘Cause now their crop? There’s no guarantee…🫛🥬

    🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️Here’s to hoping that Harry and Beth,
    Aren’t completely out of their depth… 
    What they’re hoping to sell,
    Hasn’t all gone to hell…
    Leaving both of them feeling bereft…🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️

    🌿With the puzzles being so close in NATURE, I SEED my way fit to recycle my Limericks from that previous one. BEETS writing a whole new set…And besides, I DIG UP plenty of DIRT here every day…so I doubt any of you will CARROT either way…🌿🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Whew, I usually have trouble w the Sunday Jumble due to the extra anagrams and additional letters, but after solving the anagrams and pondering the cartoon, I hit upon the solution! Hooray! Chuck!

  9. Good morning. At first I thought I was going to have a problem because nothing came to me right away but after a few moments the brain started to work and everything came into view. No blind solve but once the letters were down it became clear. Until tomorrow Take care.

  10. What a Funday Sunday ! I decided to make my comment a little later than I usually do so I can rest my brain , and it worked ! Like chuck and terry the anagrams came right out and was a fun find ! The jumble , I always like 2 , 3,and 4 letter words , it completes the sentence! The main subject of the puzzle was weeds , holding them up and showing the roots ! So that helped and gave me the solution ! So I had a nice Sunday Funday jumble ! Angela , your posts are always very complete and very Punny ! Great Sunday ! Everyone enjoy !!!!!

  12. The words were easy to solve. For the answer, I saw ROOT OUT THE, but thought the last word was related to weeds or plants. The letters left didn’t help. So I tried other four letter words (none swear words), but none of them worked. I went back to ROOT and finally saw PROBLEM.
