So…Today…a neighborhood gym, somewhere in Richmond, VA. And we see the resident bodybuilder, Gregory PECs, put his foot in his mouth…as he criticizes a fellow patron, PALL. And our female, BUFFY, is immediately put off by his STRONG words…and tells him he should keep his OPINIONS to himself. Maybe he’s afraid Pall might try to MUSCLE in on Buffy…and he’s jealous…Or maybe he’s just a DUMBBELL…either WEIGH, Buffy is starting to realize that as a couple they’d never WORK OUT, and that’s he should be a little more FLEXible when it comes to judging others…She’s definitely turned off by his…STRONG OPINIONS…https://tinyurl.com/36d9ra65 …And with “Bodybuilder” and “Muscular” (=STRONG) in our question, and the judgement (=OPINIONS) in Gregory’s dialogue, this easy, breezy puzzle is a perfect FIT for a Wednesday…and I’m sure it’ll LIFT our spirits going forward for the rest of the WEAK…

Major hump-day , Wednesday , following 2 nice days of solves ! One anagram had me and it was TABOO ! The jumble had me looking for an ING word but I couldn’t get it ! This one was a tough y ! So I need to get my thirst quenched tomorrow ! Angela your play on words was really good ! I haven’t your song choice for a long time ! It was a good one ! Taboo slowed me up a bit and when I finally gave up on the cartoon answer I realized in putting down the letters for Taboo I substituted the Os and put down As. I’ve been traveling, so haven’t been able to comment in a while.
The answer was hard. I first tried ‘sports’ for the first word, but that gave ‘onioning’ as the second. I tried ‘position’ as the second word, but the first wouldn’t work (snrong). However, that made me try STRONG which led to OPINIONS. It fits, but was not obvious to me when I started.

Funny you say sport, Dennis. I was trying to rhyme the word in my poem and in the limericks, but I wasn’t sure if it was considered a sport, per se, so I did a little research. I came across this, among other things…
