  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🎣A CHIP OFF THE OLD DOCK🎣

     🎶He can’t even BAIT A HOOK…He can’t even skin a buck…He don’t know who Jack Daniels is…Ain’t ever drove a truck…Knows how to throw out A LINE…But not the kind in a FIELD AND STREAM book…🎶…”Bait a Hook” – Justin Moore 2011 https://tinyurl.com/3hpbys2w

🎣He hoped his son would stay on TRACK, and so become a WINNER,

    He’s caught a fish and probably thinks it’d make a tasty dinner…

He let out a small laugh and COUGH…he liked the young boy’s grit,

(Note: TUXEDO’s not “suit”ed here…there’s no way it can “fit”)

Dad’s feeling good…the boy did well…he’s proud of little John…

It’s first day out and just like that…the kid’s def CATCHING ON!🎣

As soon as I saw our puzzle, I thought for SHORE it was a repeat solve, but no…Although it was this 🤏🏻close…Just the same, it’s an easy, breezy one that I’m SHORE you’ll have no trouble TACKLE-ing…

So…Today…we see a Dad, FISHER Stevens, and his son, John, as Dad’s hoping his boy will fall for the alLURE of fishing = CATCH…. And what’d ya know…the kid’s a natural…And between the leading nature of our question, and Dad’s dialogue…we got ourselves a solve….John’s definitely…CATCHING ON https://tinyurl.com/4f55bze4 …And COD this have been any easier? No WEIGH…We’re done here…HOOK, LINE and SINKER…And it REELy only took us aBAIT a NY minute…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Besides the one that didn’t get away…there’s two other fish floating nearby…And maybe, just maybe, if you look REEL closely, that might be the sinking sailboat SEA-n under Dad’s chin…but I’m not SHORE if I’ll BITE…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend, who’s an avid fisherman. He told us about a little row he and his wife had and how she hasn’t spoken to him in a week. He said he’s thinking of getting a divorce. Which prompted my other friend to tell him, “Don’t be so hasty. Women like that are hard to find” …Give it a minute…🎤🎣🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. …AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…This close 🤏🏻…The puzzle of February 25th, 2013…”He tried to teach his son how to fish, but his son couldn’t” …CATCH ON. And the puzzle of November 20th, 2023. https://tinyurl.com/4nr4hk5x .”The fishing enthusiast invented a new lure and hoped it would”…CATCH ON 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️Dressed as a penguin for Halloween, the TUXEDO-looking costume kept causing him to COUGH…while his wife, dressed as an ordinary TRACK runner, was chosen as the WINNER…neither made sense as far as he was concerned, and he really felt there was something he should be CATCHING ON to…🤷🏻‍♂️

👎🏻Pete grabbed the first TUXEDO he saw upon the rack,
He failed to note the price of it…he never did keep TRACK…
…Of how much he was spending, but this did make him COUGH,
The snooty salesman looked at him and made a sound of scoff
The guy was a real WINNER, and for that Pete now was gone…
Maybe a few more lost sales…and he might try CATCHING ON…👎🏻

  5. 🎣Our Dad, Fisher, he loves the outdoors,
And especially being near the shores…
    Yes…fishing’s his forte,
    And he’s hoping today…
To teach it to his son…because…🎣

🐟…He’d love it if his boy would share,
In the sport with him…they’d be a pair…
    Spend their days catching fish,
Go home cook up a dish…
That would surely make real tasty fare…🐟

👍🏻If a Father and son get to fish,
It fulfills for the Dad a sweet wish,
See the joy on his face,
As he stands there in place…
And watches the fish bob and swish…👍🏻

🎣Fisher’s happy his son did catch on,
And from now on it’s all him and John…
    Spending time, just the two,
    On the waters so blue…
And before you know it the day’s gone…🎣

❤️So to Fisher and John…all the best,
Here’s to hoping your days all be blessed…
    That you’ll fish…be content,
    Have a weekly event…
And always put your cares to rest…❤️

  6. Good morning. I see by the early votes that few people had any problem this morning so I’m in good company. No problem with the words and even a blind solve. Thank you for the s- – – kicker music Angela , a refreshing and enjoyable change. First time hearing it. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. I’m in good company with another blind solve for Taco Tuesday…right now, can’t say the same for Angela’s little joke….but I’ll give it a minute (or two). Enjoyed your post, Angela. Terry

  8. Hello taco-Tuesday , and continuing on with a nice jumble ! Only one anagram gave me a cold , so I had to COUGH on that one ! But the jumble , when you fish , you CATCH one ! And the ING was there with ON ! Great taco-Tuesday ! And your song choice Angela , I agree with Paul , that , I too have never heard it. , but it reminded me of me and my brother playing the acoustic guitars and they were good !! Very nice ! I’m gonna have me some tacos today and be happy about the jumble ! Have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!!

  9. Easy blind solve but I enjoyed the Jumble today. As soon as I saw water in the picture today I thought about a sinking sailboat but I told myself that there wasn’t enough water. Angela, you found what surely looks like the sinker. HA. Thanks, Stan

  10. Easy one today and a blind solve. I’ve had a cold and COUGH for the last couple of days, so I appreciated the second word.

Don’t forget to vote today if you haven’t done so already.
