    🏌🏻‍♂️He’s sweating after this one, and it’s not the MUGGY weather,
    He knew he hit the ball good…followed through light as a feather…
    The shot just like a CANNON ball, he knew that it’d go far…
    And he was thinking he’d be praised when they all hit the bar…
    (Himself in a TUXEDO, maybe there would be a thing…
    Where he’d receive some accolades because of this great swing)?
    …300 yards in TOTAL…definitely not an easy feat…
    But then, alas, way out of bounds…so close…yet now he’s beat…
    And just like that…with no hope that it’s on the course’s lawn…
    He watches his ball take that curve…knowing it’s just LONG GONE.🏌🏻‍♂️

    The majority of golfers average between 200 and 224 yards off the tee. Only 4% of golfers can drive a ball 300 yards or more…So yes, “If only he’d straightened it out”…

    Our golfers? Two men who have graced our pages before…one in particular a pretty frequent member of the Jumble CLUB. At left, SWINGing his heart out…comedian Nate Bargatze, https://tinyurl.com/yc6zjseh a good friend of Jeff and David’s, who we’ve seen featured as recently as April 29th, https://tinyurl.com/44d7hjbx and at right, his Father, Stephen, https://tinyurl.com/vm8z3xsr, a hilarious comedic magician and renowned motivational speaker….and of COURSE another very good friend of J & D…And I guess we can say that Nate’s a CHIP off the old block as far as comedy goes…And as soon as I saw them together, I recognized them from a puzzle back on December 5th, 2017… https://tinyurl.com/344fphkn and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the last time, but right now I’d be going out on a WEDGE to say that I remember when they last appeared here together. A six year SLICE of time just doesn’t seem quite PAR FOR THE COURSE…But it’s been a ROUGH long weekend, and I’m exhausted, so I’m really not up to doing the FOLLOW THROUGH that might GIMMIE a more recent date…and I’d hate to LIE…so for now, the FAIRWAY is to just FOREgo any more talk about a MATCH PLAY for them…and chalk it up to the HAZARDS of trying to get too many things done without a BREAK…If I’m able to SWING some extra time for myself, I’ll keep you in the LOOP…

    Anyway, Nate and Stephen have just come from delivering a sold-out show at the fabulous open-air Red Rocks Amphitheater https://tinyurl.com/49ynkssz in Morrison, Colorado…and they figured they’d unwind with some golf… Unfortunately, for Nate though, he just couldn’t HOOK up with any luck…

  3. 🙇🏻‍♂️His patience was LONG GONE by the time he spent a TOTAL of three hours, in the MUGGY weather, trying to change the tire dressed in his TUXEDO shirt…which was now as blackened as a CANNON ball…🙇🏻‍♂️

    🤦🏻‍♂️The horse injured his CANNON bone…and things aren’t looking good,
    It’s common knowledge this won’t heal the way he hopes it would…
    The horse dark black…with silky shine, TUXEDO comes to mind,
    The TOTAL years he’s had him…they’ve a bond that’s hard to find…
    The weather hot and MUGGY, and he’s fearin’ before dawn…
    He’ll hear the words he’s dreading…”Sorry…but he’s def LONG GONE”…🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. It’s taco-Tuesday and I’m having some for this great jumble ! This to me was not a very formal jumble cause I got all the anagrams very nicely except TUXEDO ! The jumble was right there , not LONG GONE like the gulf ball , but easier to find ! Here we go into the week and I hope it continues all the way to Friday ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!!

  5. Sorry to hear you had a hard, rough weekend. Hope this week perks you up. It was blind solve Taco Tuesday, the only stumble was with TUXEDO, which took awhile. Yep, as one of my instructors once said, the woods are full of long drives !! Enjoy your day.

  7. Despite thinking today was a Monday it was a clean sweep of the anagrams and the long drive cartoon. As an avid golfer my drives were far from long, more like 175 yards or so. Sorry your weekend, Angela, was a bump in the road, wishing you a better week!
