  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well..
🐸GOING FOR ICE CREAM…OR GOING FOR CROAK? 🐸

🎶 Jeremiah was a bullFROG…Was a good friend of mine…I never understood a single word he said but I helped him a-drink his wine……And he always had some mighty fine wine…🎶 …”Joy To The World” – Three Dog Night 1970 https://tinyurl.com/bdz42hzj

🐸 He didn’t see the interest BUILD as the three watched the show,
So when he asked ’bout ice cream?…A slight GRIPE saying no…
The JABBER of a frog story had gripped them in suspense,
So truth be told, they’d rather stay until it’s done…and hence…
While it seems kind of QUAINT to Dad…he sees they won’t be visiting…
The ice cream shop for now…because the frogs are just too “RIBBITING”! 🐸

Ok…Now this made me laugh out loud. Not just because it’s such a TOADally silly pun, but because just the other day, playing an animal memory matching game with my nieces, and being TOADally KERMITted to the game, I knew that the last two sets of cards were frogs and pigs for the win…So I said…”Ah…now this has gotten RIBBITING”…And while it SLIPped right over the heads of the little ones, my older nephew almost CROAKed on his drink laughing…Maybe you had to be there…Anyway…

So…Here’s the deal. If you didn’t automatically associate FROGS with RIBBIT, https://tinyurl.com/4btj6h6n note the words “fascinating” in our question, and “great show” in our dialogue, plus take those tell-tale quotation marks into consideration? Well, then I guess you’re going to need a comPONDium of the letters to see “RIBBITING”… https://tinyurl.com/283f4jmw …But I think I’ll take a chance and go for CROAK, and say that I’m sure most of you didn’t need any KELP to see what’s HOPpening here today…I bet you NEWT the solve right away…and had no need to PONDer over it…Because IMO?…This one LEAPed right off the page…WART you see is WART you got!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with this TOADie, but a goodie…Frog walks into McDonald’s at the height of the lunch crush, with the line three deep, and orders French FLIES and a CROAK…telling the counter person he needs them immediately…Counter person turns to his co-worker, laughs and says, ”Now that’s HOPtimism for you…” 🐸🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤦🏻‍♂️It might have been considered QUAINT and RIVETING when he first began to BUILD his case, but after listening to him JABBER on and on for almost two hours, everyone began to GRIPE…🤦🏻‍♂️

📕 The little cottage QUAINT for sure, they sat beside the fire,
It took a while to BUILD it right…but no one displayed ire…
The reading tonight? Carroll’s JABBERwocky is the thing…
And not a single GRIPE was heard…they found it RIVETING…📕

  4. 📺 They sat down to enjoy some TV,
In an effort to ward off ennui…
    And surprisingly found,
That by LEAPS and yes bounds…
They were taken by swamps all dewy! 📺

🤷🏻‍♂️Who knew such wild things about frogs?
Living out there in ponds amidst smog?
    Use eyeballs to help eat?
Yes that is quite a feat…
And it all has them totally agog!🤷🏻‍♂️

🐸 But here’s Dad thinking of something sweet,
And he offers his family a treat…
Ice cream to him sounds good,
But his wife says, “We would…
Just not now ‘cause this show can’t be beat”…🐸

🤷🏻‍♂️Can frogs possibly have such a grip,
    That a family would forego a trip…
    To get ice cream tonight?
He can’t get them to bite…
Looks like this time the sweet treat they’ll skip! 🤷🏻‍♂️

    🍦So it’s riveting is what we’re told,
But is poor Dad left out in the cold?
I think he should just go,
Bring ice cream back in tow…
And I’m sure his family will be sold! 🍦

  5. No hump today ! This was definitely a No-Hump Wednesday ! All the anagrams were there and I raised an eyebrow on JABBER but I got it as I crossed my fingers ! The jumble today was so fun ! So far Monday , Tuesday , and today were smooth and not Jumpy like a frog ! And that low voice of RIBBITING ! Love your song , three dog night ! Love it ! And your humor , Angela along with your analysis of this jumble is so complete ! So here’s one for you all ! I saw a frog standing on its hind legs in a creek and I said “ Mr frog , how deep is that water ? “ and he said “ Knee Deep ,,,, Knee Deep ! Everyone have a good No-hump Wednesday !!!!!!!

  6. Oh those silly frogs and what they say !! I saw some “B”‘s in the anagrams, so that kind of pushed me in the right direction, plus I thought it was an ING word. So hats off for a blind solve this morning. Anagrams followed for a speedy Jumble morning. Hats off to you, Angela, for playing that matching game with your nieces !! Those youngsters really have an eye for remembering what cards were turned over. I know I’m no match when playing with grandkids. Enjoy this last day of May as tomorrow…June will be bustin’ out all over.

    • LOL! 😂 Right? Trust me, Terry…these kids can be ruthless. If I weren’t the one shuffling and dealing the cards out, I’d swear they found a way to cheat…😂 And for the record, I threw the last of the game. 😂 The look on the little ones face…chompin’ at the bit…glancing at me sideways…I just didn’t have the heart to go in for the kill! 😂🐸🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. Easy as 1 2 3 today. I even got the blind solve finally. Loved your song choice Angela and your post. Until tomorrow take cake.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. Have a good one! 🐸🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Anagrams were a quick solve but the many lettered cartoon gave me reason to pause despite the obvious frog ribbeting reference! Happy hump day to you all!
