Good Morning, Everyone…😱TUM DE TUM TUM!😱
😱It seems this happens WEEKLY, overindulgence his bane,
He’s not LIKELY to change his ways…hence the weight he just gains…
The dishes stacked beside him…he SWUNG by the grill three times,
(And FLUTE just doesn’t fit our theme…yet still…part of the rhyme)
Our Chuck sits there, stuffed to the gills…and Pepper…she can tell…
She came prepared because by now…it’s what she KNEW FULL WELL!😱
Yep, beCOURSE by now she knows to PLATE…oh, sorry typo…place those antacids in her bag TOOTH SWEET https://tinyurl.com/ycyk55es whenever they go out to eat…He’s a creature of HAliBIT…and steak…and burgers…ad nauseam…literally and figuratively…
So today, a cookout…and we see CHUCK STEAK, and his doting wife, PEPPER…the woman, who while adding SPICE to his life, also knows when to put out the fire…And once aGAIN she’s come to his rescue…beCOURSE she KNEW FULL WELL https://tinyurl.com/4fkdzb8a that he’d eat too much…I wonder if things were like this back when they were dating…FULL COURT PRESS comes to mind…
And Jeff’s Gems…Diners off to each side…Burgers coming off the grill, a table set with salad, pickles, and condiments, an American Flag on Chuck’s cap, the three empty plates on the attached ledge beside him, and his libation of choice in its mesh holder. But the PIÈCE de résistance is the plastic container in Pepper’s hand, complete with tiny antacids visible inside, and its push-down tab top…it reads “Tum Tum”…and it GUT me laughing!…And that’s it for our puzzle today…Easy to DIGEST…no pun intended…
So…There you have it Folks…WELL DONE…A MEMORIAL DAY puzzle…Be well, be kind, stay safe…And all joking aside, as we take this puzzle home, let’s not forget the true meaning of today…A day set aside to honor the memory of those brave men and women who didn’t come home. Today isn’t the same as Veteran’s Day. So prefacing a greeting today with the word “Happy” is out of place. Today wasn’t instituted in joy, with a promise of bringing happiness each year. It’s a day of solemn contemplation marking how high a price was paid to allow us the freedom that we’re so blessed with as Americans. So it’s not just a day off from work, and a day for retail sales…It’s a day of remembrance, a special day that affords us the opportunity to reflect upon the service paid by our fallen brethren….and to thank them for how their sacrifice allows us to have and enjoy the lives we have…And in the spirit of that remembrance, as we gather together today, I thank Everyone who’s worn the uniform, and wish Everyone…especially those of our readers whose families were called upon to pay that ultimate price…a blessed, thoughtful, and peaceful Memorial Day….And may God continue to bless America. 🇺🇸🙋🏻♀️
🎶 All gave some…SOME GAVE ALL…Some stood through for the Red, White and Blue and SOME HAD TO FALL…And if you ever think of me…Think of all your LIBERTIES and RECALL…SOME GAVE ALL…🎶… “Some Gave All” – Billy Ray Cyrus 1992 https://tinyurl.com/ykbcd9ae ❤️💔🇺🇸
‘Chuck’ eating ‘Chuck’ steak, clever.

You are really clever, thoughtful and bring joy into our house… Thank You!
Thank you, Judi. You’re very kind. And I’m glad to bring you some enjoyment. 🙋🏻♀️

♣️ He SWUNG around to the WEEKLY poker game after FLUTE practice, even though he KNEW FULL WELL that they most LIKELY had started without him… ♣️
🥂🍾Champagne most LIKELY should be served, though some did not do so,
At the WEEKLY get-togethers liquor most times didn’t flow…
But she SWUNG by the local mall since she was one FLUTE short,
She’d have the champagne ready…plus some beer and a fine port
Would people choose to drink?…Well as far as she could tell…
It’s no secret that they did before…and this she KNEW FULL WELL! 🍾🥂
Good Monday , start of a new week of jumbles ! Who knew that two words had four L’s in them with only eight letters total ! Well she did ! She KNEW FULL WELL ! What a great way to start a new week of fun jumbles ! The anagrams SWUNG very musically , like a FLUTE ! And the last two had L’s in them also as LIKELY as this WEEKLY jumble ! Thanks Angela for dissecting Memorial Day and the complete meaning ! Great way to start off a new week ! Everyone have a good day !!!!!!

As a veteran, I, too, know full well the meaning of today’s holiday…and appreciate your noting the same to your readers. That said, FULL seemed like a given, but couldn’t pair it with any other words, so went straight for the anagrams. I took out FULL and the rest was pretty easy. Enjoy the holiday and the unofficial start of summer !!

Good morning. Thank goodness for Mondays. Jumble usually eases us into a new week on a lighter note which they did today. No problem with either parts of jumble but I was unable to get a blind solve. Until tomorrow take care.
A fairly easy Memorial Day Jumble with only a pause on the weekly looking like weakly at first but lacking the ‘a’, then moving on to a quick cartoon solution of the 4 letter words.A happy and blessed Memorial Day to one and all.
Angela, thank you for pointing all of the subtle nuances of the cartoon puzzle. Also, a special thank you for your comments about the meaning of Memorial Day and the sacrifice that so many gave for us to enjoy our bountiful blessings as Americans. That was really nice, and thank you, Angela!
YW, Tom. And thank you for your kind words. 🇺🇸🙋🏻♀️
