    An ORATOR would shout out loud…this truly is dramatic…
    A beer costs seventeen dollars…perhaps COFFEE instead,
    I guess depends on how things go…the cheering or the dread…
    Jeff’s cartoon does INSIST that it’s the Lions today live, 
    But we all know it’s still zero…those hopes…he’ll need REVIVE

    So…Today…We find ourselves in New Orleans, at Caesars Superdome…with seats in the front row on “the 50-yard line”…(Considered to be the best seats in the stadium, offering a perfect VIEW (= VISION) of the entire FIELD)..And with those words in our question, the dialogue of “not going to miss a thing” (= on the FIELD), and “such a sight” (= VISION), this puzzle solves itself…They had an incredible..FIELD OF VISION* …And this one PLAYED out perfectly…we’ve easily, breezily SCORED a TOUCHDOWN here today…

This year’s LIX logo** on the field, the husband’s Lions talon glove, his holding one of those $17 beers, the wife’s Lions eared headband, her ubiquitous NOLA beads, and her wearing a vintage Barry Sanders*** jersey. (There’s also players shown SPORTing numbers 99 and 17…but in my DEFENSE, I’m no Lions fan, so I’m taking a PASS)…All in all, it’s a SUPER cartoon…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who last year was lucky enough to score a ticket, but it was way up in the nose bleed seats. Not caring of course, he went anyway. On the way back from the men’s room though, he walked around trying to see if he’d catch an empty seat somewhere a lot closer…and came upon a man with just that beside him. Asking if anyone was sitting there, the man told him no…that he’d bought the two tickets months ago, but since then his wife had passed easy. Offering his condolences, but not looking to be OFFENSIVE, my friend couldn’t help but ask why the man didn’t just bring a relative or a friend…And the guy answered that they were all at the funeral…Super Bowl tickets?…Definitely for the DIE hard fans…🏈🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. it’s a funday Sunday ! Boy for a Sunday it was a typical with two anagrams of ORATOR Rand REVIVE , that I had to find ! But the jumble on the 50 yard line , had me on the FIELD and VISION award right there with OF left ! Great Sunday Funday ! And Angela , I love your song choice ! I always listened to it ! You friend who had an extra seat available at the game cause he didn’t go to his wife’s funeral was a little awkward , so let’s bring on a new week with a solving Monday!!!!!

  14. Good morning. It happened again. Almost done and it disappeared on me. It took me over an hour to get all the words correctly. The two that gave me the most trouble were the ones that most people struggled with. Now the cartoon answer was a different story. Once I put the letters down the answer came right to me. Thank you Angela for that great song choice. I really enjoyed it and especially the joke. Until tomorrow take care.
