    ✈️ Could have echoed through a CANYON, cross the desert it did spread,

    He didn’t piddle PADDLE…he got down to work instead…

    Across then every LOBBY the news began to VOICE,

    The Air Force proud of Yeager…they surely did rejoice

    His name became a household one…the country did respond..

    Amazing feat? Most definitely…’twas ABOVE AND BEYOND…✈️

    BARRIER? Yeager let nothing stand in his way!

    So…Today…October 14th, 1947… the Mojave Desert…And we’re witness to Captain Chuck Yeager* breaking the Sound Barrier**…ABOVE the clouds and BEYOND belief! And the dialogue of the Air Force personnel, “booming” (=SOUND),  “success” (=ABOVE AND), and “worked harder” (=BEYOND), assures us there’ll be no CLOUDing our vision here…Captain Yeager went…ABOVE AND BEYOND***…And we SOARly FLEW HEIGHT through this one…

    So…There you have it…Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And to the late General Yeager, we tip our caps…He gave all new meaning to 🎶Straighten Up and Fly Right🎶…✈️🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🗣️The sound at the PADDLE ball tournament, sponsored by the CANYON Club, was ABOVE AND BEYOND the norm…and one had to go into the LOBBY just to get their VOICE heard…🗣️

    🤷🏻‍♂️The puzzle clues were PADDLE and CANYON to name two,
    But he had written Crayon…and so things went askew…
    He did ok with LOBBY plus VOICE and ‘specially bond…
    But no way do his letters solve to ABOVE AND BEYOND…🤷🏻‍♂️

    ‘47 …hadn’t happened…still…
    …During the war claims were made,
    But no one made the grade…
    And the claims never did fit the bill…🤷🏻‍♂️

    ✈️ Air Force looking for single guys, 
    To attempt it…and the reason why…
    It was thought it would be,
    Safer to a degree…
    But the idea Yeager didn’t buy…✈️

    👍🏻He was married and he had a son,
    But his want for the mission was won,
    He put worry aside,
    Said his faith would abide…
    And strongly he stuck to his guns…👍🏻

    👏🏻👏🏻Yes…the sound barrier he did break,
    Leaving skeptics behind in his wake…
    And the honor he claimed,
    The reward still remains…

    ✈️ He went on to gain further acclaim,
    Til his death the respect always came…
    And it all began with,
    Captain Yeager’s true grit…
    As that sound barrier brought him fame…✈️

  7. I was gonna wait till tomorrow to post this but I woke up and I already had it written and I feel like posting it , so ! Give me some tacos ! I answered this faster than the speed of jumbles ! Yea , all the anagrams were there for me ! And the jumble , when I looked at all the letters , I was trying to think what words relate to faster than the speed of sound ! And flying in an airplane was ABOVE and to go faster was BEYOND ! Great taco Tuesday jumble ! I am so happy ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!

  8. Easy Tuesday Jumble for me. The wind outside woke me up early. It almost took my paper Above and Beyond as it was halfway across my yard when I went outside to get it . LOL. Very nice post this morning Angela. Thank you, Stan

  9. As a former Air Force pilot, I appreciate all the RIGHT STUFF Chuck Yaeger embodied to successfully carry out this mission. I did, however, need the anagrams for the solve. Nice posting, Angela….and I am currently marching through the house listening to the Air Force Theme Song !!! Enjoy your Taco Tuesday. Terry
