  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🗓️THE PASSAGE OF PRIME🗓️

🎶 One day you turn around and it’s summer…Next day you turn around and it’s fall…And all the winters and the springs of a lifetime…WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THEM ALL? …🎶…”September Of My Years” – Mr Frank Sinatra 1965 https://tinyurl.com/mr3kkxm6

🗓️ The calendar wasn’t a FLUKE, he really got AROUND,
With MUTTON chops and all that hair…success was easily found…
And he could CROON besides model…back than he sure did rate…
    Today though it’s a different tune…his photos?…OUT-OF-DATE…🗓️

And the old cliche comes to mind…”HAIR today…gone tomorrow”…Sadly, he had to PART with most of it…But that other cliche? Paraphrased…There’s still some snow on that rooftop…and hopefully fire in the furnace…

So…ToDAY we find ourselves at the home of a former model, Fred AstHAIR and his wife, Jane FONDER…And we see them both being taken aBACK…in more WEIGHs than one…That old calendar (= DATE) that Fred’s pulled OUT is bringing back memories of the days when he ROCKed the industry…Chosen to be Mr October, he got to display not just his physical charms, but his musical prowess besides. And Jane can hardly believe what she’s seeing tHAIR…Her reaction? Not exactly one to tWEEK Fred’s ego…But, let’s FACE it, Folks…life MARCHes on…and while he MAY not be an AUGUST example of virility today, NO-VEMBER of his age group hardly is…MONTH have been nice while it lasted though…But now? It simply COMBS down to this…That photo’s just OUT-OF-DATE *…And as easy, breezy as this one is? There was no reason to get HUNG UP or have an ERA at all…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Coincidentally October 1st is a Wednesday this year…and Jane’s playing the Jumble on her phone…LOOKS like some things just never go OUT-OF-DATE…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who auditioned to model for a calendar. The only catch, they were looking for young men…turns out his GRAYS were NUMBERed…🗓️🙋🏻‍♀️

    CALIFORNIA ❤️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️The MUTTON painting, considered a FLUKE, caused them to CROON a different tune once word got AROUND that not only was it a fake, it was also way OUT-OF-DATE…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️ The old man loved to CROON the song ‘bout MUTTON…God knows why…
It wasn’t just a FLUKE with him…AROUND him people sighed
But he just kept on singing…though no one could relate…
Not only a strange tune for sure… but truly OUT-OF-DATE🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️Looking back on the days of one’s youth,
We are definitely faced with the truth…
    What was once normal fare,
Like that full head of hair?
Now elicits a cry of “Forsooth”…🤷🏻‍♂️

🗓️There’s no way one can deny the change,
That virility’s now out of range…
    But those photos of old,
    Are something to behold…
    Though looking at them?…Sometimes strange…🗓️

🤷🏻‍♀️Where once crowning glory Fred bore,
Now his hair’s nothing like ‘twas before…
    And that physique? Ah…well
    There’s now a stomach swell!
    Obviously things gone evermore…🤷🏻‍♀️

🗓️Now with model days way in the past,
It’s with pictures that the memory lasts…
    Yes, Fred had his heyday,
    But age took it away…
Life goes on…yes, once the die is cast…🗓️

❤️ But with Fred who’s today past his prime,
And the stardom that’s long ceased its climb…
    He and Jane? Still together,
    And life they have weathered…
    …Marriage that’s withstood test of time!❤️

  5. Just a little hump to get over Wednesday ! Two of the anagrams threw me off ! But the jumble came right to me , because of calendar , OUT and DATE were right there , and OF completed it ! Nice midweek jumble ! Your song choice was a perfect one with Frank Sinatra, Angela ! He has such a good voice ! And Jeff gems are always detailed perfect ! Thanks always for your well outlined posts ! Everyone have a great day and I’m getting thirsty for Thursday !!!!

  6. An easy, breezy midweek puzzle, thank you !! And a Sinatra ballad to go with it !!! Yay. But the subject matter and song actually made me think a little deeper….especially “snow on the rooftop and fire in the furnace”. Yep, very introspective words for the elders, for sure. Thanks for penning these fine words…and enjoy your Hump Day. Terry

  7. Good morning. We were handed a mid week gift from the boys. Easy as 1 2 3, a no-brainer. Your song choice Angela as usual was enjoyable. It makes you really think of where the heck did all them years go. A little sad I think but happy you’re still around with family and friends. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you..and I feel the same way…bittersweet…Take care. 🗓️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. No problems at all and that makes me think it’s going to be a beautiful day in flyover country. Frank Sinatra tune gives it a special kickoff.

  9. A clean sweep of all this morning. Also enjoyed the Frank Sinatra song. I have a Sirius Sinatra station on my car radio and enjoy playing his “My Way” song on my accordion. Chuck, the accordion playing professor.
