  1. Good Morning, Everyone…. 🖌PICTURE THIS 🖌

🎶 So may I introduce to you the act you’ve known for all these years…Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band…🎶 “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” – 1967 https://tinyurl.com/788z2a8y

🖌 The day would be a BLEAK one, if Jumble wasn’t seen,
As David says the words will always call for certain scenes…
And “Jumble Jeff” the ALIAS that Jeff Knurek goes by,
Needs come through each and every day…or leave us high and dry…
No monkey WRENCH thrown in the works, his inspirations found
There’ll always be a Jumble cartoon while Jeff is AROUND
So there’s no need to worry, you can take it to the bank…
That Jeff will be in “tune” with things…and never DRAW A BLANK! 🖌

Yesterday was a really tough day for me, but thankfully our puzzle this morning isn’t. So I’m relieved to make this short…As long as Jeff doesn’t DRAW A BLANK, there’ll always be a Jumble cartoon… https://tinyurl.com/yse4hk85

    What DREW my eye?
    ° David’s David L Hoyt Puzzles & Games mug https://tinyurl.com/y46efw32
° Letting sleeping dogs lie… literally:
    – David’s dog, Miss Daisy, under his desk
    – Jeff’s dogs, Fifi under the desk and Gizmo beside her
    ° Jeff’s Wilco T-Shirt with its signature hummingbird… https://tinyurl.com/yckn8fwr
    ° …And IMO…the scenario that David’s describing would make a great Jumble puzzle…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well, and stay safe out there…🖌🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not often that I DRAW A BLANK, but this time AROUND it was looking pretty BLEAK…since I couldn’t get through the brain fog enough to WRENCH the guy’s ALIAS from memory…🤦🏻‍♀️

🔧 He’s def a friendly plumber…never BLEAK with matters dank,
His ALIAS is “WRENCH Intense”…but his real name is Hank
He doesn’t beat AROUND the bush, he’s upfront and quite frank…
    He’ll give you a fair estimate…so you don’t DRAW A BLANK…🔧

  3. Good morning Wednesday hump-day ! Back at the jumble full speed and todays was really cool ! What a great way to display a jumble solution , to compare it with the jumble artists ! The anagrams were really easy , however they must have left the table when coming up with the words, cause someone came in and said he was the new jumble creator , ALIAS, Jeff ! That’s the only one that gave me trouble ! When I saw the letters , the word BLANK came and the letters that were left were AWARD , well they had to Draw and they didn’t want to DRAW A BLANK ! Everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!

  4. A blind solve on the puzzle is always welcome but distracted me a bit on Around as I looked to place the A R and D. The Sgt. Pepper album was key point in pop music history. The Beatles’ Rubber Soul inspired Brian Wilson to write Pet Sounds, which in turn was a massive influence on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Thunderstorms on the Plains last night provided awesome lightning show but little damage. Be excellent to each other.

  5. Stumbling, bumbling Jumble solver today. Sometimes the Jumble gods can be cruel, and they were to me today. There was no blind solve and just didn’t have the anagram solver going at full speed this morning. Stumbled at ALIAS….then followed that with AROUND. Finally unscrambled AROUND, solved the puzzle, and only then was I able to back in ALIAS. At least Wordle gave a small pat on my back today. So congrats to all of the blind solvers out there…it’s richly deserved for you. Better luck for me tomorrow !!!

  6. Almost a BLEAK Jumble day. I solved the four words, and had a blind solve on the answer. However, two letters from the words didn’t match the answer, so a WRENCH in my result. I looked AROUND and found that the second word wasn’t ‘asail’. I therefore am posting this under an ALIAS.

  7. How do you DRAW A BLANK? With a brush with no paint on it? Three of the four words have alternative solutions: BLAKE instead of BLEAK (as in Tyger, tyger, burning bright), ASAIL instead of ALIAS, and UNROAD (meaning to remove a road from) instead of AROUND, but none of these lead to cartoon solutions. But the intended words do lead to a shadow solution, namely WALK A BRAND. I’d imagine the creator of Jumbles displays his brand, namely Jumble, when he goes about places; for example, on a shirt.

  8. Good morning. I had a real bad day today. I drew a blank on two words and the cartoon answer. I’ll put the blame on my allergies and doctors visits and cat scans. The older I get the more serious these allergies are getting. It never bothered me until my 60s. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  9. For me, today drew a blank,
At fourth anagram my heart sort of sank
    Solution is clever
Did I get it – no never
    I’ll just be completely frank!

Thinking of all you NYC folks Angela, dealing with yet another horrible attack.

  10. I drew a blank on the cartoon solution as well despite a quick solve of the anagrams.Happy Hump Day to one and all.

  11. Cute puzzle this morning. I too first saw “asail” instead of “alias” but got a blind solve on the cartoon answer so realized I needed that “l”. So sad about the events in New York City yesterday, Angela. Prayers that all will recover.
