  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🌍☀️SUN LIKE IT HOT! ☀️🌍

    🎶Here comes the SUN…do-doo-doo-doo…Here comes the SUN…and I say..It’s alright…🎶 “Here Comes The Sun” – The Beatles 1969  https://tinyurl.com/2z4wb3d6

🌍☀️BEFORE they even could reply, the question they did moon,

A bit of sticky WICKET…what they heard the teacher CROON…

Their STASH of knowledge limited, the subject to them new,

The Earth, the Sun…this lesson…still out there in the blue

The kids we see are thinking…thoughts spinning as would a dancer…

Confusion though, they fail to know, what is the “CORE-ECT” ANSWER…☀️🌍

A BURNING question? To these kids…obviously so…But the question posed to us? An easy, breezy one to LAYER down…as long as one follows the PATH of clues…

Today…A middle-school classroom, the subject…Earth Science. And with the words CENTER = CORE and “YES” being the right = CORRECT response = ANSWER, given to us, and those quotation marks letting us KNOW that the SPACEs will contain a pun? This one?… SATELLITE in our laps…”Yes”…is the “CORE-ECT” ANSWER https://tinyurl.com/3ye97vnd  …and…class dismissed…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of the other morning when I saw two birds in the park, sitting in the hot sun eating ice cream that was melting from a dropped cone….I knew right away that they were BASKING ROBINS…☀️🌍🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🪟BEFORE he had to leave to deliver the STASH of papers, he was reading about WICKET windows…all the while a low CROON on his lips…and he wondered if the small openings would be the CORRECT ANSWER for their new project…🪟

🤦🏻‍♂️The posters had been printed, but no one checked BEFORE,
And now the STASH was looked at…as they’re going out the door…
But someone starts to CROON low, ‘cause where it should say ticket,
    A major misprint’s what they found…because it’s reading WICKET
The cast upset and rightly so…it’s too late now to transfer…
For new posters…so what to do? There is no CORRECT ANSWER…🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. 🌍☀️Today’s lesson…the Earth and the Sun,
And comparing the heat…one to one…
    Just what causes the heat,
    And do the two compete?
Is the lesson the teacher’s begun…☀️🌍

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️But it’s taken these three by surprise,
“Won’t we burn up”? We hear one surmise…
While our girl takes the stand,
    Maybe trickery’s planned…
    Understandably questions arise…🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    ❓Concentration is definitely the key,
As we’re seeing today with these three,
But it’s hard to nail down
    Hence we notice the frowns…
As they struggle to such a degree…❓

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️Not so easy to just comprehend,
With the sun rising just to descend..
So the doubt that we see,
    Being shared by these three…
May take more than one lesson to end…🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

🌍☀️Yes, the question of Earth and it’s heat,
Caused by gaseous clouds that it did meet…
Takes a while to sink in,
    Let’s hope this teacher’s spin…
Resonates when the lesson’s complete! ☀️🌍

  5. Another blind solve today. First of all, seemed like ANSWER was the last word, which helped. Next I searched around the picture, and finally saw the earth’s CORE…and that gave it away. Anagrams solved post haste to confirm. Funny bird story for sure, Angela. Stay cool and see you TGIF. Terry

  6. Good morning. I was able to get both parts after putting down all the letters. I had core for the first part and finally saw answer among the left over letters which left me with ect for the middle. You put a smile on my face with the robin pun Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. After solving the anagrams and having the letters, core was an obvious choice for a successful solve of the cartoon as well, even with a hyphenated solution! A successful Jumble Thursday! Chuck.

  8. Today is thirsty Thursday , not yesterday ! And today was a good one with the anagrams and the jumble ! They all came to me ! I did question CROON , but I was right ! So they all were there ! The jumble took some thinking , but like the others , I saw the picture of the earth cut out and the middle gave me CORE , and then the ANSWER came with ECT left and that fit right in between the quotation marks ! And Angela once again , thanks for a Beatles song , my favorite ! And I too had a smile with an eyebrow raised on the ROBINS ! Let’s end the work week tomorrow Friday with another one like today !!!!!!,

  9. Mr. Sun seems to be working overtime in some parts of the country considering the temperatures these days. Easy solve of today’s puzzle. Have a good day all! Betty

    • Wayyyy overtime! 🔥🤦🏻‍♀️ Wishing you a good day too, Betty🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. It’s quite a mind-boggling thought

That Earth’s core could so hot

That when all’s said and done

It equals the heat of the sun

And that’s a fact that ought to be taught!
