    🕰️ Back then it was just COMMON, there was no SPEEDY way,
    To tell the time you had to know ‘bout hands and ‘bout which way…
    …They turned around the dial, no “read-out” for a clue,
    We got by THOUGH, was SOOTHE…mean smooth…because…well. we just knew…
    (And CAVIAR and VIOLET won’t work within this rhyme,
    I tried my best…but realized that I was wasting time)
    Amusing what we’re seeing here, the young boy quite engaged…
    As Mom tells him about the clocks…and how the TIMES HAVE CHANGED…🕰️

    …Considering 16 letters? Still no chance of an ERA…And this one took no TIME at all…

    So…Today…Aisle 14…somewhere. Costco? Best Buy? Goodwill? I’ve no clue.     Jeff’s💎Gem? The 5 digital clocks all read 5…but the one with the hands reads 8…I’m wondering why not 4? You know, in homage to the Jumble…And Jr’s reference to “arrows” is wittingly right on “target”…But you know what else has me wondering? How come this puzzle wasn’t used last Sunday when we turned the clocks back? The TIMING would have been perfect…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was TICKed off to recently have been let go from his job at a clock making factory…To hear him tell it…”After all those extra hours I’d put in too…what a waste of time”…Suffice to say, it TOCK a toll on him…you could see it in his FACE…🕰️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️A little worried, and hoping THOUGH that the CAVIAR would SOOTHE them and bring a SPEEDY end to the now all too COMMON disagreements, VIOLET lamented over how TIMES HAVE CHANGED…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🤷🏻‍♂️A SPEEDY resolution, once COMMON now was rare,
    THOUGH they had tried to compromise they argued here and there,
    The CAVIAR too pricey, the VIOLET drapes too bland,
    And nothing seemed to SOOTHE them all…things just are out of hand
    Civility has disappeared…procedure’s rearranged…
    It’s sad, but true and way too obvious that TIMES HAVE CHANGED…🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. Multi lettered cartoon solution got me again.I thought the first word was time but w the 5th letter it never occurred to me it might be times with the last letter S. Chuck.

  9. Good afternoon ! I didn’t get to todays jumble until now and my schedule fit perfect , cause I had a lot to do today and TIME was not on my side ! I did get the jumble ! A couple anagrams had me , SOOTHE and CAVIAR , and 16 letters were a lot but I got TIME and CHANGE and HAVE gave me the letters D,S left , to make it a Funday Sunday ! Hope everyone has a good day ! Angela , you can’t go wrong with Bob Dylan , that fit right in and your friends Time at the Clock factory was in good Hands ! Bring on a new week Monday of fun and entertaining jumbles !!!!

    Today’s kids just don’t know the demands…
    Of quarter past this…
    They’d be so remiss…
    If made today to understand…🤷🏻‍♀️

    ⏰ In the digital age they were born,
    Teaching analog? We end up forlorn…
    Half past doesn’t gel,
    Ten to? Cause to quell! 
    Forget the alarms for the morn!  ⏰

    It’s so simple the 5 that they see,
    Where we had to learn time,
    From numbers that climbed…
    And using math to a degree…➖➕

    ⬆️ So those “arrows” as our boy does say,

    Never dreaming that there’d come a day…⬇️

    With precision to stop on a dime…
    Were we better off then?

  11. In our local paper, The Arizona Daily Star” there was a typo. The last word was MONOMO. I worked for a long time and couldn’t get it. No wonder!!! Mark
