This was a tough one. I fumbled around until I decided the end was probably ATIONS. With the letters left, I eventually saw RAM, and got the answer. I live near the LA Rams fall training camp, so should’ve seen it sooner, but I didn’t.

This one was hard to guess although I thought it probably ended with ATION. So I got a list of 13 letter words off the Internet, and put them in Excel. I found all the letters that were NOT in FRIAMASOCTINI and asked Excel to change each letter in turn to an empty string; i.e., delete the letter from the word. The correct answer should still have 13 letters after this. I then applied the length function LEN() to each word, and sorted them from highest length to lowest, and up at the top popped the word RAMIFICATIONS, the only 13-letter word that contains only the letters RAMIFCTONS. I note if there were two words, the following interesting anagrams result: ATOMIC FRISIAN, OCARINA MISFIT, MARIA FICTIONS, and MARTINI FIASCO.
