🎶 Was Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace, my fears relieved…How precious did that Grace appear, the HOUR I first believed…🎶 “Amazing Grace” – Carrie Underwood 2021 https://tinyurl.com/yc339d7t
⛪️ Baptisms are a blessed time, the ceremony PROPER,
Some kids are dressed in lacy gowns that def can be show-stoppers…
Sometimes the Priest may TEASE a bit as the words he professes,
Like how some boys will feel in years…seeing themselves in dresses
Bet MONEY it’s amusing though…(and INDICT here’d be a crime)…
Today it’s ‘bout a Sacrament… and this one’s “RITE” ON TIME! ⛪️
Ok…So since this one’s so simple, ** I’ll just cut RITE to the GRACE…All new anagrams….easy, breezy. And the solve? Once again, all served up on a silver PATEN…I mean platter. Baptism? It’s a religious RITE…And between everyone’s dialogue and the question relying so heavily on TIME…plus the Priest seen checking his watch? This one is a BLESSING! The ceremony was going to start…”RITE” ON TIME! Can I get an Amen!
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one…Be well, stay safe.. and let’s all count our blessings…🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
** I had this written up before I saw what may be appearing in some online versions, and possibly in some papers. ON TIME, of course, should be printed as two words, not one.
🤷🏻♂️ When he knew that they’d INDICT him for his very unorthodox use of their MONEY, he admitted to himself that it wasn’t PROPER…but deep down inside he still felt the TEASE that came with knowing just what to invest in…RIGHT ON TIME…🤷🏻♂️
🤦🏻♂️ He handed in his paper late, yet felt it was top-notch,
But he had used a word all wrong…and so it was a botch…
The word INDICT he messed up on , ‘cause he went with Indite,
And TEASE him is what teacher did…although he kept it light…
It may not have been PROPER, there’s more bees gained using honey,
But he understood the Prof was right…and definitely on the MONEY…
If he was going to pursue a career based on rhyme…
He needed to get his words straight…and do it RIGHT ON TIME! 🤦🏻♂️
I do these on my phone and the words are laid out differently, still I got it.
Fun day today.
👍🏻🙋🏻♀️
Good morning , thirsty-Thursday ! I got the jumble after I got the words ON TIME and RITE was left , but I had to look up the definition of the word , not that I haven’t heard it before , but i could see the special meaning of the RITE ! With the anagrams, I had a little problem with TEASE , I didn’t want them to INDICT me for not being able to get that one either , so I’m going to be PROPER and no amount of MONEY can buy that kind of special moment that the cartoon showed RITE ON TIME ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!
Good Morning, Jim. You too. ⛪️🙋🏻♀️
✝️ A Church, a crying Baby, and thee,
And a Priest with a wedding at three…
Pray Baptism goes well…
So not long will we dwell…
What a blessing that truly would be! ✝️
🤱🏻Bless the child brought into the fold,
As her Godmother carefully holds…
Her ‘bove the blessed font,
Pray the child never want…
As we witness redemption of soul! 🤱🏻
🤷🏻♂️ While our Godmother looks quite serene,
Her companion’s hardly one to preen…
With his disheveled hair,
And his tie knot down there…
Looks like better mornings this guy’s seen! 🤷🏻♂️
Good morning. Another one straight down the line with no hesitation right to the cartoon answer. Had 2/3 of a blind solve. Didn’t think of RITE to replace Right. Four easy ones for the start of the new week. Enjoyed Amazing Grace. One of my favorite spiritual songs. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. One of my favorites too. Be well and stay safe..⛪️🙋🏻♀️
No problem with the anagrams or the cartoon as rite was obvious being in quotes. There was a note in the news some time ago, that a Catholic priest said ” We baptize you,…” Rather than “I baptize you…” Which theoretically made those baptisms null and void!
Out of the starting gates, couldn’t think of the RITE words for a blind solve. But fate intervened with a quick trip to deliver car to tire shop for a fix. Upon returning a few minutes later, saw the answer clear as a bell for the blind solve…and anagrams followed seamlessly. Have never been a fan of Amazing Grace…and am sure I am in the minority out there in spiritual-land.
The minister, all prepared at the font
Was in hope of a really fast jaunt
Just a quick dash of water
On the baby son…..or daughter
Was all that the parents would want!
In the (holy) spirit of diversity, the celebrant in this limerick is a minister!
What the heck is going on over there usually you give us a tough one on a rainy day.
But with the puzzle submitted 6 weeks ago, how would they know it’d be raining? 😉🙋🏻♀️
And, of course, it isn’t ever raining everywhere.
As little bro Jim says ” Happy Thirsty Thursday” – today was a pretty easy solve, the words came easier for me than usual and the puzzle “Rite On Time”, speaking of the sacrament of baptism, always is a comfort and assurance that
my belief in God is true, brings my heart so much joy and peace !
Have a sunny day, God bless you all –
until tomorrow !
Wishing you the same, Suz! ⛪️🙋🏻♀️
Got the anagrams & cartoon answer right away today. It’s been an easy week so far. Have a good one all!
