  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🐸 FROM HERON OUT I BET HE TAKES HER ADVICE 🐸

🎶 It’s not easy being green….It seems you blend in with so many other ord’nary things….🎶…”It’s Not Easy Being Green” – Kermit the Frog 1970 https://tinyurl.com/mr3myfxs

    🐸The conversation’s ORIGIN has taken a backseat,
The GOSSIP they had heard about? Remains now incomplete…
So ready to enjoy that CARAFE of their morning brew,
Instead she sees him PRANCE about…and asks, “What’s up with you”? It seems a HEALTH threat did arise…Something that was afloat…
…Has failed to ADJUST in his mouth…it’s A FROG IN HIS THROAT!🐸

Ok…Here’s the SQUEAL…If you’re not the type who solves our puzzles without first unscrambling the words, the 16 letters may seem daunting this morning. But I really think today’s solve just JUMPS right off the page…and there’s definitely no reason to CHOKE on this one…BEAKause if you just look at the male heron’s THROAT, there’s the outline of a FROG plainly visible…So if you do find yourself stumped BEAKause  this one got BAYOU…And you’re hardly HOPPY about it? Well…that’s definitely a bitter pill to SWALLOW…And I may be prone to say…”I TOAD you so”…

So…Today, a marsh somewhere…and a Heron  https://tinyurl.com/2rj73amx couple, Bud ABBIT, and his wife, EATy Adams…Dining al fresco, Bud finds himself at a loss for words…and he’s not one to be usually choked up. So when he doesn’t answer EATy, after she’s already admonished him about chewing his food, it becomes obvious that he’s bitten off more than he can chew…in more ways than one! And that FROG that they both could have shared?…It’s now nothing more than a lump in Bud’s THROAT…And it’s obvious there’s no way to RIBBIT out now…Bottom BRINE? Bud can’t answer BEAKause he has…A FROG IN HIS THROAT https://tinyurl.com/zx87bx3r …Too bad he couldn’t wash it down with some CROAK- a-Cola…

Jeff’s💎Gems? The lily pads, and the two SOLEitary fish…I did PONDer over the cartoon for a while…but that’s all I could SPIT OUT…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I intended to leave you with a little Heron tale, but to my EGRET it TERNS out I’ve forgotten the punch line…Or maybe it was all just a FROGment of my imagination…I’m not SHORE..But if it does come to me WADER, I’ll let you know…🐸🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Sitting with a CARAFE of lemon tea, in an attempt to soothe what he considered A FROG IN HIS THROAT, he couldn’t help but wonder where the ORIGIN of the GOSSIP began…but before his mind would start to PRANCE around he figured with a nod to his HEALTH, that he’d be better off to ADJUST his attitude about it…and let it go…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♀️Her HEALTH would be much better if she let the GOSSIP slide,
This guy enjoys to PRANCE around with stories…lacking pride…
The ORIGIN of his nonsense, that could fill a CARAFE?
Who knows where it begins and ends…to him it’s all a laugh
He should ADJUST his own life first…instead of sit and gloat…
Would serve him right to suffer hard from A FROG IN HIS THROAT…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Just like people I guess birds can find,
Themselves caught up in various binds….
    Stomachs smaller than eyes,
    And failure to surmise…
That big portions are smart to decline…🤦🏻‍♂️

🥵So…Two water birds looking to dine,
And things started out going just fine…
    Then a problem arose,
    Bud was nowhere verbose…
Finding himself in need of some brine…🥵

😱 Like a glutton his failure to chew…
Is what caused the problem to ensue…
    And while EATy does glance,
    Bud is doing a dance…
As his face is slowly turning blue…😱

🤦🏻‍♂️‘Stead of biting a bit while they spoke,
Bud just glommed a frog down but then choked…
    Now he’s gasping for air,
    With what’s sticking right there…
    …In his throat…and it’s hardly a joke…🤦🏻‍♂️

🐸Guess the lesson old Bud learns today,
Is to pay heed…as Eaty does say…
    With his food…he needs chew,
    So the frog now askew?
    Gets digested an easier way…🐸

  5. Well, yes….I like to TRY TO SOLVE these puzzles without doing anagrams first, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. And today, I swear I didn’t see that frog outline. So accomplished the anagrams and solved the old-fashioned way. Enjoy your Sunday, Angela….and p.s….I always enjoyed Kermit’s songs. Terry

  6. I knew the cartoon answer was ‘something’ in his mouth or bill, but couldn’t come up with the multi lettered cartoon answer! On my birthday no less. Chuck.

  7. Good morning Sunday Funday ! One of the few Sundays all the anagrams were there for me ! A little bit of raised eyebrows on CARAFE , but I got it ! The jumble as you mentioned Angela , couldn’t be no other but A FROG IN HIS THROAT ! Cause as soon as I saw FROG , THROAT was there ! This was a Funday Sunday ! And as usual , your Kermit the frog song was right at home ! Your play on words with not remembering a punchline was so funny ! So , this was a nice jumble Sunday ! And I did remember I was walking out in the country one day and saw a frog in a creek that didn’t have much water in it and to pass some time I asked mr frog how deep is it ? He looked at me and said Knee-Deep , Knee-Deep ! In a very low voice ! lol had to post that ! Everyone have a great day today !!!!!!

  8. This was probably my first blind solve on a Sunday. The Heron clearly had something in his throat. Have a great Sunday

    Thanks

    Stan

  9. Slight pause at carafe and I too did not see the outline of a frog so first thought he had a lump in his throat but lacking the proper letters came up with the right answer. I too like Kermit the Frog. Love his song “The Rainbow Connections”. Have a Happy Sunday all! Betty

  10. As a 83 year old Jumble player, I get a lump in my throat when I can’t solve the game words.

  11. A little more Jumble notoriety was achieved today! Did anyone notice the reference in today’s Crankshaft comic?
