🚌 Today we see when they were YOUNG, their GLORY days for sure,
But nothing’s BITTER ‘bout this group…they still go out on tour…
Right now though they are rushing to LOUNGE aboard their bus,
One wonders if they way back then were known to cause a fuss…
Was Keith Richards a slacker, was Jagger quite controlling?
We’ll never know…but here today…they’re ready TO GET ROLLING…🚌
Ok…Monday mornings seem to be getter harder and harder…Or maybe it’s the weekends that are…either way, all ICON say is that I’m feeling STONE..I mean bone tired…So let’s get to this easy, breezy puzzle and GUITAR ON THE ROAD…
Today we have another solve that speaks for itself. With (just) “The Stones” and “Mick” in our question, the on-point images of three of them in our cartoon, and the dialogue of all of them referring to three of their hits…you’d have to be living under a STONE to not get the gist of this…There’s a Bus = it ROLLS…They’re the ROLLING Stones…https://tinyurl.com/y6c2s5nh , and “running late”? …They’re ready…TO GET ROLLINGhttps://tinyurl.com/37tz322v …And for the RECORD…we TOUR through another one…
Jeff’s💎Gems? The arena is showing in the background. And with Mick Jagger saying, “Start it up”= “START ME UP” … https://tinyurl.com/4a5xtuts , Keith Richards saying, “Time isn’t on our side” = “TIME IS ON MY SIDE” https://tinyurl.com/mr2apmvd , and Ronnie Wood saying, “Be there in a flash” = “JUMPIN’ JACK FLASH https://tinyurl.com/4ayxx25c , Jeff’s given us a great piece of their playbook. Then there’s Mick, in one of his iconic poses, and Keith with his signature headband, earring, and the skull belt buckle. And there are initials on the headstock of his guitar that may be KR, but I went “Around and Around” and I was still “Back to Zero” as far as it being definite… And I started to “Drift Away”…so I gave up…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And here’s to the Stones, who after 62 years are still making music…They kicked off a tour in April…with Mick being 81, Keith 80, and Ronnie, 77…Time marches on and all good things must come to an end…But don’t tell that to The Rolling Stones. 🚌🙋🏻♀️
* 🎶 No opening number…since I’ve cited three of their hits above…🎶🙋🏻♀️

🤦🏻♂️The GLORY LOUNGE was frequented by a YOUNG crowd who were eager TO GET ROLLING…and began to get BITTER with the delay…🤦🏻♂️
🎳The YOUNG bowlers in GLORY days, refused to become BITTER, They hung out in the brand new LOUNGE that was dubbed “Heavy Hitter” All eager to start playing this tournament of bowling… They couldn’t wait to get out there…they’re ready TO GET ROLLING…🎳
Hello Monday , start of a new jumble week of great jumbles ! This one was a typical Monday fun and entertaining jumble solve ! The anagrams were great ! And the Stones without mentioning the ROLLING apart , gave me a quick word to get out of the solve ! This was a great start to the week ! And Angela , yes you mentioned some of their good hit songs and Tome On My Side was one of my favorites ! We all grew up with them and it’s so nice to hear all the memories ! You take care and let’s get some tacos Tuesday !!!!!!!

With our band and our song
This one is now in the past!

🤷🏻♂️Not easy to maintain the score, When these bands are out there on tour… Days blend into nights, The sounds and the sights… …So what town is the show du jour?🤷🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️With concert dates booked back to back, It’s easy to sometimes lose track… What city…Boston? Or maybe Austin? And when do they sing “Paint it Black”?🤷🏻♂️
👏🏻👏🏻The Stones by now used to the grind, 62 years…for sure blows one’s mind… They’re older and gray… But damn…can they play… A more stalwart band you won’t find…👏🏻👏🏻
🗣️So maybe Mick can’t move the same, As when the Stones first garnered fame… But for 81 years old? The truth it be told… He’s still living up to his name…🗣️
👍🏻Hats off to this band here today, Whose stamina’s still on display… “Brown Sugar”…”Angie”… There was never ennui… Nor skies that from “Blue Turns to Grey”! 👍🏻
