Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🤦🏻♀️GETTING BUY THE DAY AFTER THE LARGE CELEBRATION🤦🏻♀️
Taking a much-needed break today. The 4th was too much…too much heat, too much food…too much…too much! Besides, our puzzle hardly calls for MUCH thought…it’s another easy, breezy one…And there’s no WANDER why anyone would have reason to spend a LARGE amount of time with it…
With the leading nature of our question…”1,000 acres” = LARGE, “purchased”= BUY, the dialogue of “OWNING this much” but “not minding” = BY AND LARGE, https://tinyurl.com/3v55p55a and the quotation marks giving us the culmination of all that BUYing talk…the idiom is altered to give us the pun, “BUY” AND LARGE…And we’re SOLD…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind…and stay safe out there with this weather…🙋🏻♀️

I’ve always liked mid-week holidays, instead of politicians trying to make three day weekends…kind of break ups the week nicely. And yes, it was a busy little barbeque for us, too. Did you have a large gathering, Angela ?? Am sure it was fun. For today’s Jumble, another blind solve, which gets me off to a nice start to the day and followed by unscrambling anagrams easily. Above all, stay cool and enjoy your TGIF. Terry

Good morning. Got the words but drew a blank on the cartoon answer. Once I saw the answer I couldn’t believe I didn’t get it. Until tomorrow take care.

Easy one today. I first thought the first word was ‘bye’, but the letters told me otherwise. I hope everyone had a nice Fourth!

A stumped jumble Friday. I thought lawful was awfull then was stumped by the cartoon as well. Maybe a post July 4th hangover, though I didn’t have any alcohol yesterday.Wushing all a great post 4th Friday. Chuck.

Nice and easy post holiday puzzle. As usual the clue to the cartoon answer was in the dialogue. Happy Friday all! Betty

Yes, when you decide you’re going to buy large
You know there’ll be some kind of charge
You’ve got hectares of space
Far from the rat race
But your finances might have to enlarge!
Some things will cost a lot more
With all that space to explore
You’ll likely want a huge truck
And with gas prices – good luck
Will you prefer the way it was before?

I usually get the answer correctly, but I was STUMPED today.
