  5. Great Fourth of July jumble ! All the anagrams were there ! The jumble with the fireworks and show got them ALL FIRED UP ! Nice thirsty-Thursday to quench my thirst with all the stuff going on this week ! This is is going to be a great week so far ! And Angela ray Charles capped it off ! I’ve always liked the way he handled his voice ! And our daughter and her two came up for a week , so today was excellent ! Can’t wait for Friday ! Everyone have firecracker of a day !!!!!

  6. Happy Independence Day to all and a great Jumble to start off the day. It seemed like a pretty easy blind solve and the anagrams were there to boot. Nice song choice, Angela…you really don’t hear it sung too often, it seems, except probably in grade school. I know we sang it a lot lo those many years ago. Enjoy the holiday and don’t burn your fingers on the sparklers !! Terry

I solved the Jumble today (using yesterday’s paper since the Richmond Times-Dispatch did not print a paper today; they had only an online version) once I saw that the first word was IMPLY rather than LIMPY. But I just realized something about yesterday’s paper. They printed both yesterday’s and today’s Jumbles in yesterday’s newspaper, meaning they gave away the answer to yesterday’s Jumble in today’s Jumble printed yesterday even on the same page. I didn’t notice it and I solved yesterday’s Jumble the usual way, as if the answer was in the next day’s newspaper. I don’t know why the RTD decided to not print on holidays, but they sure executed that policy wrong.

    • Jim…You do realize that stating this here will not help you in any way. You need to voice your complaint with your paper. 🙋🏻‍♀️

    • We also don’t have a paper copy today, but they held up putting it online until today!So I didn’t have an advance copy in yesterday’s online paper. Chuck.

      • Professor, he had both puzzles PRINTED yesterday in his ACTUAL paper. Each day’s new puzzle gives the answers to the previous one….so if he had looked at today’s, he would have seen yesterday’s answers prematurely. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. After a pause on imply, all was well with a virtual blind solve on the cartoon as well. The 4th was my mother in law’s birthday so happy heavenly birthday to her! Chuck!

  10. I too first thought of limpy but once I corrected that error the rest of the anagrams and cartoon was an easy solve. Wishing all my fellow Jumblers a very Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸 Betty
