  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

✈️ WING WENT THE STRINGS OF HIS HEART ✈️

🎶 Life begins and spirits RISE and they become MEMORIES that vaporize…And the vapor becomes the dreams we devise…And while we are dreaming TIME FLIES…🎶…”Time Flies” – Rosemary Clooney and Linda Ronstadt (Miss Clooney’s original version 1994)… https://tinyurl.com/375zxf8d

✈️He loved the job most DEARLY, so it never felt like work,

And being with the Airline he so enjoyed the perks…
A FROWN had never crossed his face, with smiles he would greet,
His passengers and co-workers within the Airline’s fleet…
Responsible he always was, he never SHRANK from it,
(And here’s where VALVE gets grounded…the word just doesn’t fit)
He started out a young man…and like leaves that are wind-blown…
Retirement’s come knocking…because how the YEARS HAD FLOWN…✈️

It’s said that 60 is the new 40…so here’s to our pilot LOGGING a lot more MILES in retirement…

Today…An Airport lounge…and we listen in as John PLANE is sharing PILOT LIGHT conversation as he bids FAREwell to his fellow pilots…After 40 years, John’s decided that it’s time he clips his WINGS, and begins to enjoy some leisure time…Belonging to a neighborhood social club, the Fusa’s, he can now spend a lot more time at the FUSE-LODGE, not worrying about schedules and the such…and he can stay up late, watch his favorite movie, “The HANGAR Games”, and TAKEOFF to spend time at his LOG cabin in the mountains whenever he pleases…And I’m sure life won’t be BOEING…after all, when you get to WING it, your life takes on a whole new DIRECTION…PLANE and simple…And to hear John say it…”The hustle and bustle of keeping SCHEDULES…well it’s KNOTS LANDING on my RADAR any more…I’m free now to just CARRY ON any way I please”…Ok…so maybe we didn’t eavesDROP on all of that…Just a little FLIGHT of fancy on my part…but who NOSE…DIVE can imagine it happening…

    Ok…Our solve…”Retiring” and 60 in our question…= YEARS…”PILOT” = someone who FLIES…The dialogue…”just yesterday” and “Where does the TIME go”? = Time’s FLOWN…Bottom line? John couldn’t believe how the…YEARS HAD FLOWN… https://tinyurl.com/yrcmbjyb  …And we’ve safely LANDED another one…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Gotta love the “Enjoy The Wild Blue Yonder” banner…but…John’s tie? I can’t imagine why he’d be HOLDING on to that PATTERN…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend who swears he was behind a man on line at the airport who was trying to board a plane with two dead raccoons in his suitcase…and was refused entry…The check-in officer told him the rule was only one CARRION per person…✈️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️He couldn’t help but FROWN trying to deal with the broken VALVE…the YEARS HAD FLOWN since he did any home repairs, and his confidence DEARLY SHRANK …🤦🏻‍♂️

🐻The Teddy Bear, loved DEARLY…crooked smile like a FROWN,
Was with the girl through good times, or when she was feeling down…
When tears flowed like a VALVE turned on, and wishes sometimes SHRANK,
That Teddy Bear a comfort…it was always she and Hank
And even though a teen now, and pretty much near grown…
She cherished still that Teddy Hank…despite how YEARS HAD FLOWN…🐻

  4. 🤷🏻‍♂️Retirement not on his mind,
Until came the day that he’d find…
    The decades had passed,
Now the die had been cast…
And time had come to end the grind…

4️⃣0️⃣ He had put in the years, one by one,
A career that long ago begun…
And the time went on by,
Yes, the years they did fly…
And now here is the day that he’s done…4️⃣0️⃣

✈️ No more of those early morn flights,
It’s goodbye to flying through the nights…
    It’s now time to rest,
    John gave it his best…
And the time to retire seems right…

👏🏻👏🏻 And so today John’s taking leave,
    Although he can hardly believe…
    That this day is here,
    While co-workers make clear…
    Deservedly praise he’s achieved…👏🏻👏🏻

✈️ So, yes…we see the years have flown,
And today John is going alone…
    The 40 long years,
    Seem to have disappeared…
    Into the blue yonder unknown…✈️

  5. It’s taco-Tuesday and I’m gonna get me some for a completely solved jumble and anagrams ! All the anagrams were there for me ! The jumble about a pilot flying and at the age of retirement gave me the YEARS HAD FLOWN ! This week is starting out well ! Angela , loved your joke about Carrion ! Never knew that word but looked up the definition and smiled and was shaking my head ! Let’s keep the week going with a no-hump Wednesday !!!!!

  6. i am just happy I solved the puzzle for today. Nothing else to say. I am lost for words.

  7. Out of the starting gate…or departure gate, I should say….HOURS HAD FLOWN was my first guess. Well, I was close, anyway. BTW, that happened to me, when mandatory retirement used to be age 60 back in 2005. Now airline pilots fly up to 65. Nice morning music from two musical greats….thanks for that. And I, too, liked your carrion joke. Terry

  8. A clean sweep of the anagrams and even the multi worded cartoon. Wishing Angela and all the Jumble fans a happy Taco Tuesday! Chuck.

  9. Good morning. Another successful completion on both parts but no blind solve. Loved the duet Angela, first time hearing it. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good to see you, Miss Eleanor…Enjoy your day…✈️🙋🏻‍♀️
