  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🐄 But the real question is…”HOW YOU GONNA KEEP ‘EM DOWN ON THE FARM…(AFTER THEY’VE SEEN PARTY)??? * 🐄

🎶 We’ll take a cup of kindness yet…For the sake of Auld Lang Syne…🎶 “Auld Lang Syne” -The Tenors 2017 https://tinyurl.com/7ejker5p

    🐄 You get a SENSE it’s double edged…’cause look what’s being served,
There’s sliders on that tray…and notice the cow’s eyes are swerved?
OMEGA being the last straw…no pun, I’m sure they’ll dine,
On that in lieu of burgers…somehow beef doesn’t seem prime…
Caught up in a quick VORTEX, kind of shocked…but tongues are bit,
I’m sure things will stay calm though…there’s no liquor to get lit
They’ll do their best to blend DEARLY…give Farmer a reprieve…
    It’s once a year…they’ll let it “slide”…and enjoy “MOO” YEAR’S EVE! 🐄

COWabunga! Sliders? Oh…the humanity! The UDDER gall! …Let’s be honest, they could’ve gone with fish and chips…or a trendy charcuterie board with buttered veggies, no? …Enjoying the party? IDK…The one at left scowling, and cutting his eyes at that tray…no BULL…the one at front rolling hers, and the one at right…hard to tell. But I guess they’ve decided not to MILK it…and just make the best of it…I mean, how often do they ever get invited to a party…or even a BARN dance for that matter? …And I’m sure they don’t want to be BRANDED the laughing STOCK..

So…As for our solve? We couldn’t have been STEERed any more in the right direction…The Farmer hoping they’ll “sleep in”= it’ll be a late night…The quotation marks = telling us a pun’s going to MEAT the eye…And our question giving us December 31st?…It’s all there for the STEAKing, Folks…It’s “MOO” YEAR’S EVE!

Jeff’s final Gems of ‘22? Our Farmer, wearing his 2023 hat, has a plate holding a wedge of cheese and a pig in a blanket, (again…the humanity)! …and an ice-cream soda…the man he’s speaking with, a hot beverage, our two women OUTBACK…a drink in a mason jar and pigs in a blanket, respectively…As for our livestock…At left, a bell, a noisemaker, a party hat and a streamer of confetti hanging from his ear…(he must be the PARTY ANIMAL)…At front, another party hat, with her bell reading 2023 as she HITS the HAY…and the one at right dons a 2023 headband…(same as our server)…And I hope none of this got PASTURE attention…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe out there tonight….And I wish you all a…Wait for it…legenDAIRY New Year’s Eve…🐄🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️He had two reading assignments remaining…The VORTEX in wind, and the last Greek letter, OMEGA…and he had an uneasy SENSE that if he wasn’t more conscientious he’d not be finished in time to celebrate NEW YEAR’S EVE with those he held DEARLY…🤷🏻‍♂️

🙇🏻‍♂️He felt as if a VORTEX came and swept him up with ease,
    The alpha and OMEGA…all encompassing…a breeze…
It made no SENSE, but he still seemed to DEARLY feel upset,
He’d hate to end the year having such feelings of regret
He knew things would get better and in time he’d cease to grieve…
But right now he still dreaded just the thought of NEW YEAR’S EVE…🙇🏻‍♂️

  4. Well, here it is New Year’s eve, and I’ve been on a great run the last few days with blind solves….and this easy puzzle comes along to thwart my record finishing the old year. I just knew MOO was part of the answer, and then played with it, and EVE, as either the first or last word. Okay, Angela, I didn’t spend as much time as I should have….and truly should have seen the middle word at YEAR’S. Okay, no more self-abasement…I quickly unscrambled anagrams and found the answer. Wishing all the Jumblers out there in the Jumble kingdom a safe and happy MOO YEAR’S EVE…and of course, more peace and harmony, in 2023. As always, thanks for your great inputs every day, Angela !!

    • YVW, Terry…And thank you for your always interesting comments and your always kind words. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. My online version was missing the apostrophe in year’s, which made me think that there was a four-letter word and a one-letter word, A. I should have realized the mistake and easy answer but  didn’t. Loved your substitution of party for Paree in the title, Angela.  Wishing all Jumblers a happy and safe celebration.

  6. As we say farewell to the year
The cow puts a word in our ear
“As I chew on my cud
    This year’s been a dud
Let’s look forward to next year’s good cheer!”

Just trying to think of something positive for next year. My main wish is to see everyone behave as respectfully to each other as all the jumblers do! It would make a world of difference.

  7. 🐄They invited the cows to the bash,
But the cows are dreading corn beef hash…
    They’d much rather see fish,
    As the dinner’s main dish…
But they’re not giving any backlash! 🐄

🐖It’s the sliders that give them unease,
For that matter, well so does the cheese…
    And the blankets of swine…
    They’d much rather not dine…
They were friends with the piglet Louise! 🐖

    🤷🏻‍♂️Farmer figured he’d give them a night,
Just to mingle and enjoy a bite…
But they’ll stick to the hay,
To ring in New Year’s Day…
‘Cause those sliders just give them a fright! 🤷🏻‍♂️

🍾There’s no alcohol on the menu,
Which is odd in this sort of venue…
    Usually there’s champagne,
    But I guess they abstain…
As they wish the old year an adieu…🍾

👏🏻👏🏻Hope a good time will be had by all,
And when the cows go back to their stall…
    Here’s to hoping they say,
    “Yes, we’ve reached New Year’s Day…
And we didn’t need to go awol”! 👏🏻👏🏻

  8. It’s Saturday and end of the week ! I had a late night last night so my posting is later , but todays jumble was so moo-ving ! The anagrams were there for me , except I had an eyebrow raise on VORTEX , but then got it ! The jumble with the cows mixing with the farmers and the party atmosphere was definitely a celebration of New Year’s Eve ! What a festive cartoon and a great description of all the details in the celebration ! Thanks Angela ! Looking forward to a new year with this wonderful jumble family ! Everyone have a fun and safe moo-years celebration tonight and hello 2023 !!!!!!!!!

  9. Good morning. At least I end the year on a good note. I had very little trouble with the words or cartoon answer. Loved all your extra gems today Angela and want to thank you for a great 2022. 10. Fun one today. Happy Moo year to all the Jumblers! It’s been a fun year of jumbles in 2022, and I expect next year will be as fun.

Thanks to Angela for everything she does, and thanks to everyone that comments here. Have a great 2023.

    • Thank you, Dennis…much appreciated and very kind of you to say…Here’s to 2023! 🍷🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Bring a former classical Greek HS student, I should have gotten the omega anagram, but failed to do it. Then having looked that up, I failed to connect the cow reference to solve the cartoon. Not a sparkling end to the year,
