  1. Good Morning, Everyone….🎨GIVING IT THAT SIDE EYE! 🎨

    🎶STOLEN GLANCES…🎶 … Pola & Bryson 2015 https://tinyurl.com/4j2pawfd

🎨 It looks like our Art Forger did ATTEND here recently,

Remember on the 14th when he tried to cop a plea?

He then CLUNG to an old story that he was enrolled in school,

But got arrested on that day…the law don’t play the fool…

The guards BESIDE Picasso show like NAVAL…there’s no chance…

The best our Forger does today is merely STEAL A GLANCE…🎨

May 14th… https://tinyurl.com/mrfsm6c8 And I’m sure you all EASELy remember seeing our ARTful Dodger, https://tinyurl.com/ybruhn63  FEIGN Brady, the Picasso forger having a BRUSH with the law, and being caught RED-handed with his DOUBTput of fake Picasso’s. https://tinyurl.com/4v83dcru  And now we see him here again today. Seems like the puzzles might have been better suited if this one was SWIPED out with that one though. EYE think it would have PABLOly PAINTED a more accurate timeLINE…since here he’s still up to his dastardly deeds…A FAUX pas? Perhaps…But hey, we know the IMPASTOr, https://tinyurl.com/3reu6jx8 the BALD-faced liar, gets COLORed https://tinyurl.com/53eb83vs  eventually, so EYE guess the SHAPE of how it comes about doesn’t really need to be all that STRUCTUREd…After all, it’s just ART IMITATING ART…And where yesterday we “FORGEd Ahead”, here now we deal with FORGEry of another kind…Hmm…A lot more than meets the EYE these past ten days…

SO…Today, France. And we find ourselves at The Musée Picasso, https://tinyurl.com/2nrtjxus where FEIGN is accompanied by a partner in SLIME, Montgomery CLIPPED. Looking to CLIP = SWIPE = STEAL a heavily-guarded Picasso, their plot is fOILed when they see the guards…who aren’t likely to be easily ABSTRACTED, I mean distracted…and they know that they’ll never even get close…and they both PALETTE a little when they realize that they’re being EYEd. So all they’re able to do is…STEAL A GLANCEhttps://tinyurl.com/49ayrms6  And with the word “Swipe” in our question, instead of “STEAL”, and Monty’s dialogue of “Don’t stare” = GLANCE, this one PAINTED its own PICTURE…And as far as our thieves go? I’m sure they’re thinking…”CANVAS be it”?….Obviously yes…and I suppose it’s SURREAL bummer for them…

Jeff’s💎Gems? If there’s any REEL connection with the planned theft and the dialogue, I’d be PAINTING myself into a corner if I tried to guess…So I’m leaving it HANGING…AND I’m not sure of the symbol next to the painting that’s inside the CUBE…IST it a sign meaning it’s not for sale? Who knows…And Monty looking to quickly place the forgery inside his jacket at Feign’s urging to hide it, is EYE-catching…But the real MASTERPIECE here today, is Jeff and David portrayed as the couple from “American Gothic” https://tinyurl.com/2rmb789v …with David holding a golf club instead of the pitchfork..That really DROVE this over the top. GENIUS! …Talk about a work of ART…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with a little PICTURE perfect humor…A French thief, after months of carefully studying the building plans of a local museum, was able to evade security and steal several pieces of priceless art. He proceeded to load it all into his van, just as the building’s alarm went off. Immediately kicking the van into high gear, he sped away…only to run out of gas, and get caught by the police. “I don’t understand”, said the arresting officer. “How could you plan all this so perfectly and yet forget to fill your gas tank”. ..To which the thief replied…”But Monsieur, Zat is exactly why I stole the paintings. I had no MONET to buy DEGAS to make ze VAN GOGH”… 🎨🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🚢 As she CLUNG to the side of the railing, she was BESIDE herself to get to STEAL A GLANCE at the fleet of NAVAL ships going by, and was so glad she was able to ATTEND…🚢

❤️ They CLUNG to one another, BESIDE the tall oak tree,
Excited to ATTEND the formal NAVAL ceremony
Their very first… and to them it held an air of romance…
They wished that they were closer…but content to STEAL A GLANCE…❤️

  4. 🤷🏻‍♂️When one uses a talent for wrong,
And knows that it’s def wrong all along…
    It’s a sad commentary,
    And yet we see many…
Who go through life singing this song…🤷🏻‍♂️

👎🏻 Feign took talent and forged some fine art,
And he felt he was ever so smart…
    But besides fooling some,
    We now see he’s become…
A man with scruples off the charts…👎🏻

👎🏻…And not at all in any good way,
Comes to Feign he believes crime does pay…
    With a cohort in tow,
We see him as he goes…
    To steal a Picasso today…👎🏻

👮🏻‍♂️But he’s foiled, how could he be not,
Did he think he would just swipe some art?
    Guards are stationed in place,
And take note of his face…
He and Monty surely lost their shot… 👮🏻‍♂️

👏🏻👏🏻Bottom line we all know how this ends,
For we saw earlier cops descend…
And Feign got his just due,
    He was singing the blues…
And there’s no more of Feign’s art pretends…👏🏻👏🏻

    • I was fortunate to have a brother but unfortunately he passed away at 54 yrs old. My wife is much more fortunate having 8 brothers! Chuck,

  5. Another end of the work week Friday ! The anagrams were all there , but the first word NAVAL , I was lost at sea ! The rest were there ! The jumble was a tricky one ! The first word that came to me was GLANCE , but I should’ve had my thinking cap on , cause my brain would’ve connected the fact they were thieves and they STEAL, and the letters left after GLANCE were there , but I forgot my thinking cap and didn’t see it ! Angela , the French thief that had a painting artist accent was funny ! So bring on Saturday to this week with a perfect solve !!!!!!’

  6. First words that came to mind were WATCH A and CATCH A…then, as you pointed out, I saw the connection between STEAL and SWIPE. Therefore, got a Friday blind solve. All the anagrams were there, although I paused on NAVAL for a moment or two. Like Jim, I also enjoyed your “funny running out of gas” joke. All in all, a great start to a TGIF. Terry

  7. Good morning. At first the words seemed hard but after a minute they all came to me with Naval being the last one to get. The cartoon answer took a little time to get with spotting steal first and getting glance with the remaining letters. You had a smile on my face and shaking my head from side to side with your ending Angela. Take care and until tomorrow be safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. LOL! Tk you. Take care. 🎨🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. I had the anagrams but misspelled glance with an S rather than a C, so was lacking the S for steal as the first word in the cartoon solution. Chuck.

  9. No problems with the anagrams or cartoon here this morning. Enjoyed your Van Gogh reference, Miss Angela. We have a fellow in the neighborhood who gives tours of the City in his 1960’s era Volkswagen Bus and it’s called …Van Go! Happy Friday all. Betty
