  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🔥 IRONING OUT THE KINKS 🔥

🎶 I chew my nails and then I twiddle my thumbs…I’m real nervous, but it sure is fun…Come on, Baby, you drive me crazy…Goodness gracious, great BALLS OF FIRE…🎶 “Great Balls of Fire” – Jerry Lee Lewis 1957  https://tinyurl.com/3sj9y59r

🔥The Blacksmith’s FRAME of mind was good…he hardly was concerned,
…That by his THIRD attempt he still had iron he would burn…
Does CHROME play any part in this…you got me, I don’t know,
For that matter…a GASKET? Comes to this craft…knowledge low
    One thing’s for sure though he’s so chill…this Blacksmith I’ll name Fred…
He takes his time, he’s not perturbed..he’ll simply FORGE AHEAD…🔥

Ok…Let’s CUT right to the FACE…Even if you don’t remember this puzzle from March 19th, 2008, we have seen almost the exact same puzzle more recently on October 30th, 2020. https://tinyurl.com/bd4cesr8 …Which all BOILS DOWN to this one solving itself…One look and you can FORGE right AHEAD to the answer!

So…Today…A Blacksmith  https://tinyurl.com/bdekfmum , Fred, working on a bust = a HEAD. And the process is called FORGING… https://tinyurl.com/39w47cp6.  And the word FORGE itself https://tinyurl.com/4tjpx6hu  fits the MOLD on so many levels…So there’s not much more to add…The Blacksmith planned to FORGE AHEAD https://tinyurl.com/58h2vpxd …And FORGE better or worse…this easy, breezy puzzle is WELD done…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Huge vessels of hot water, tongs, and an old-fashioned bellows… https://tinyurl.com/4r4ha99x …it’s all AIR…And if I was meant to recognize a recent Hall of Famer? Sorry…but it’s gone right over my HEAD…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and this puzzle reminds me of my friend who swore that the dog he adopted must have been formerly owned by a Blacksmith. He told us that the minute he got the dog home it made a BOLT for the door…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🙇🏻‍♂️He wanted to FORGE AHEAD with the project, but by the THIRD time he failed trying to hang the CHROME FRAME, he blew a GASKET…🙇🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️The CHROME GASKET gave him trouble, his FRAME of mind not good,
He always did much better when he worked with only wood…
    He’s giving it a THIRD try…but then it’s put to bed…
He’s lost whatever interest he first had to FORGE AHEAD…🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. 🤷🏻‍♂️While we all strive to do a job well.
There are those times things just go to hell…
But if we have a chance,
    For a failure enhance?
There’s no reason to stick with pell-mell…🤷🏻‍♂️

👍🏻 If we’re lucky and get the “do-over”,
And our failure doesn’t get exposure…
    Just how fortunate we,
    To step up a degree…
‘Til we’re finally sitting in clover…👍🏻

🔨Be it sculpting or painting a scene,
It’s the artistry brings in the green…
So while Fred missed the mark,
    He’s still in the ballpark…
What we’re seeing is his in-between…🔨

🔥 While the third time is usually the charm,
    Fred’s horse luckily ain’t left the barn…
He’ll just melt it he claims,
    And do a rearrange…
    So there’s really no foul here…no harm…🔥

👏🏻👏🏻 So it’s hats off to Fred and his grit,
He’s determined to just stick with it…
    He’s not flustered nor stressed,
    Just more iron he’ll press…
‘Til his Hall of Fame head is fit! 👏🏻👏🏻

  5. Going into today , I was really thirsty for a complete anagram and jumble solve ! Well today , I got it ! All the anagrams came right out ! And the jumble , I had to do a little research about what exactly a blacksmith does for a living and it said , he molds and bends steel and iron and then heats it up to FORGE it ! Well that came right out and AHEAD was right there ! What a fun and entertaining jumble ! Angela you make it that way with your song choice , which Great Balls of Fire was perfect ! And your friends dog making a Bolt for the door ! And I’m Steel laughing ! Great jumble to quench my thirst this Thursday jumble ! Everyone have a thirst-quenching Thursday !!!!!

  6. I thought AHEAD was the second word, and didn’t give much thought as to figuring out the first one. Therefore, unscrambled anagrams to quickly find the answer. Jerry Lee Lewis can sure pound that piano !! Good song, Angela. Enjoy your Thirsty Thursday. Terry

  7. Good morning. I’m slipping. I was stuck on Gasket and had to look it up but with all the letters now and starring at them for a few minutes that dim lightbulb in my head beamed bright and Forge Ahead appeared. It made up for not getting that simple word. You nailed the song choice Angela with your pick. Another one that would have come close to yours might have been Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. But I’m voting for yours. More energetic and gets the blood flowing. Until tomorrow take care.

    • LOL! Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. Take care. 🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Could be…He was inducted last year, by a unanimous decision…⚾️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Had a virtual blind solve on the cartoon, but thought the ‘third’ anagram was a misspelled ‘dirth’ yuck as in Chuck!

    • Not such a “yuck”, Professor. One of the Early Birds saw “dirth” also…the misspelling of “dearth”…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. The answer was right there in the cartoon! Only had to pause on “gasket” but the rest came easy.

    • Yes it was…just as I stated…”One look and you can forge right ahead to the answer”…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️
