FRYADT: New anagram
Hello Monday ! Wow , I made a commitment to really study hard on this weeks jumbles and it worked ! I got all the anagrams and the jumble ! I pulled out three and four words , then studied the phrase about a hawk which is a bird and can see really good and an old expression of a BIRDS , oops “ I got it “ have a Fowl , Cornea , Sight ! Lol , everyone have have a great day ! Great start to the week !!!!!!!
Those eagles way up in the sky
Watching the world go by
The things they can spot
And prey that is caught
Life for them is really a high!
One wonders how the Jumble can be oh so challenging one day…then, almost be a give-a-way another. Such was the case today when this idiom popped up in a blind solve. No pauses in the anagrams and we’re off to a great Monday start. Will check out Angela’s link about Patriot’s Day now. See you Taco Tuesday.
The anagrams were a quick solve, but I was initially intimidated by the multitude of letters and hyphen in the cartoon answer, but then the solution popped into mind. Being 9/11, may we never forget that awful day in 2001!
Easy puzzle this morning. Prayers for those souls lost on this fateful day and for the ones they left behind whose lives were changed forever.
Good afternoon. Had to be out real early for a doctors appointment and also had a friend go too who needed advice about skin cancer. Got back and played rummikub as the bocce courts were still too wet to play on. The senior center in marine park has been without air conditioning for about a month now. All the complaining that they do does absolutely nothing. Sorry I got off the topic. Had no problem with the words today and for the second day in a row I got the blind solve. Until tomorrow take care.
