I guess what we’re seeing is the BASE-is for a Softball game…I really couldn’t get to FIRST BASE with the logistics…But I’m pretty sure the man at back, in the bow TIE is the umpire…The thought just seemed to POP UP in my head, so that’s how I’m PLAYING it…I’m sure Jeff knows the SCORE..

Interesting to learn about the origin of softball. Coincidently, I’m reading a book on the origin of baseball. The baseball was softer then as the runner was made out if the ball was thrown at the runner and hit them. Later, the rules changed to throw them out at the bases.
I played in a lot of men’s softball leagues and tournaments when I was young. Never thought of its origins.

Was musing over the cartoon puzzle and happened to notice all the “G”s in the anagrams….and that’s when GAME came to mind, and after a moment or two…CHANGER appeared in my mental radar. Examined the anagrams and they were solved quickly to make the blind solve a reality. Interesting tidbits about softball. Thanks for the rundown, Angela. A successful jumble Thursday! Loved the softball reference, my brother and I primarily played ball with a softball, as we were limited by a small backyard bordering an alley, which was our ball field.Chuck.

My thirst was quenched today , Thursday ! The anagrams were a perfect pitch ! The jumble was a baseball GAME turned softball , therefore a CHANGE ! Got a real good week going ! And as usual Angela your song , informational description , and maybe Cinderella was in track to Run from the Ball ! But all was very complete and entertaining ! So everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!
